So awesome to see how far CoBL has come but it’s no surprise, especially with @jmverlin and @Owen_McCue steering the ship
Today, CoBL and @PhillyInquirer are announcing a joint partnership that will benefit the city’s legendary and thriving amateur basketball scene, from high school up through college and so much more. cityofbasketballlove.com/new…
CY brings its backups in for the next drive and Reedy Bayse sends us to a running clock. 15-yard scoring run, 39-0 CY with nine minutes to play #LNPFootball
Fours up. CY leads 32-0, hempfield facing yet another third and long after CY edge rushers posted the second sack of the day for the Panthers #LNPFootball
CY strikes and we’re bordering on mercy rule territory. Cam Diehl rumbles ahead for a 3 yard score to cap off a 60 yard scoring drive. Hempfield blocks the XP but it somehow bounces up and in, 32-0 CY with 3:33 left in the third #LNPFootball
Scoreboard malfunction and we’re in a slight delay. Because Friday’s weather postponement wasn’t enough I guess #LNPFootball
Hempfield defense bends but doesn’t break yet again, CY gets to the 6 yard line but Phil Krauser and Dom Acevedo combine for the sack on 4th and 3 to force a turnover on downs #LNPFootball
Red Knights go three and out, great PBU by CY on a deep ball that very well could’ve gone the distance on third down #LNPFootball
Teams back out for the second half, sun still shining but clouds starting to roll in. Hempfield will receive the kickoff to get us rolling again #LNPFootball
HALF: Central York 25, Hempfield 0. Both offenses look relatively rusty out of the gate but Hempfield did produce a bit thanks to a couple 20+ yard passes from Jackson Landis. 15 min halftime and we’ll be back at Panther Stadium #LNPFootball
CY drives into the Hempfield 10 but the defense holds strong. Panthers kick a 24-yard FG, leads 25-0 with 4:36 left in the half #LNPFootball
Underway at panther stadium, CY throws OOB on third and long so Hempfield will get its first crack on offense today #LNPFootball
Another day of relief duty, this time in Central York as Hempfield takes the trip back to CY. Storms the entire drive over but (so far) all clear here, we’ll resume in 20 minutes with CY up 22-0 with 9:28 left in the first half #LNPFootball @JeffReinhart77
FINAL: Palmyra 21, Donegal 14. A track meet broke out from a marathon in the fourth quarter as Palmyra stuns the Indians with two scores in the final three minutes @LancasterSports @JeffReinhart77 #LNPFootball
Braxton Risser delivers the potential knockout blow for Palmyra, following up a 33-yard Nate Eisenhooth reception with a two yard scoring plunge with 36 seconds left. Palmyra leads 21-14, Donegal on the ropes #LNPFootball
Donegal goes three and out. Palmyra takes over at donegal 46 with 1:46 on the clock #LNPFootball
Palmyra TD and a heartbreaker for donegal. Eli Rose takes a 5-yard route in the flat for 69 yards and six points. XP good, back to square one as we’re tied 14-14 with 2:50 in regulation #LNPFootball
XP good, 14-7 Donegal with 4:03 on the clock. One more defensive stop might be enough for the Indians to see this one out #LNPFootball
