1/3 Had a great time seeing Boys From the Blackstuff again today with the brilliant Hayley Sheen. Saw it last month at the National Theatre and now at the Garrick.
It’s a fabulous play, nicely adapted from the whole, classic TV series, with very clever and creative
2/3 direction and performed by a superb cast. A true ensemble piece with intense emotion, biting realism, dark Scouse humour and comic relief, plus fabulous use of singing and physical theatre.
3/3 Well done Hayley - your National Theatre AND West End debuts in one! 👏👏👍🌟🥰 (Performing together at The Brindley seems like an age ago! 🤣🥰)
