1/ I'm a cardiologist. I've practiced for twenty-five years, through a lot of "breakthroughs" that turned out to be press releases. So understand the weight of what I'm about to say: I have never seen a single week in medicine like the one we just lived through. In the span of a few days, four separate scientific breakthroughs landed. The stock market treated them as four unrelated stories and sent a handful of biotech companies soaring. But that's the shallow read. Look closer and they are not four stories at all. They are four faces of the same story — the biggest shift in medicine since the discovery of antibiotics. Medicine is becoming programmable. Individualized. Written for one human being instead of the average of millions. Let me walk you through exactly what happened, in plain language, and show you where this is actually headed. Because the future arrived quietly this week, and most people scrolled right past it.

GAME CHANGER: Montana just found the "exit ramp" to kill Citizens United. They aren't waiting for the Supreme Court—they’re going around them. 74% of voters are on board and corporate lawyers are PANICKING. This is how we win. 🏔️💸 dworkinsubstack.com/p/army-s…

In a groundbreaking social initiative, Albuquerque, New Mexico launched a program that pays homeless individuals to clean streets, parks, and public areas. The idea was simple — offers work, dignity, and purpose instead of punishment or pity. The results were remarkable: over 70% of participants have now secured permanent housing or full-time employment, transforming their lives and communities alike. The city’s “There’s a Better Way” program proves that compassion-driven policies can be more effective than traditional welfare systems.

You save Social Security by saying no payroll tax for the first $150,000, and no cap thereafter
You don’t save Social Security by raising the age to 70 years or older. You save it by removing everyone that is ineligible to receive it.

Let’s remember Charlie Kirk by his best work. Black people “Happening all the time in urban America, prowling Blacks go around for fun to go target white people, that’s a fact. It’s happening more and more.” Black pilots “If I see a Black pilot, I’m gonna be like, ’Boy, I hope he’s qualified.’” Black women “They're coming out, and they're saying, 'I'm only here because of affirmative action.' Yeah, we know. You do not have the brain processing power to otherwise be taken really seriously. You had to go steal a white person's slot to go be taken somewhat seriously." Civil rights “We made a huge mistake when we passed the Civil Rights Act in the mid-1960s.” Death penalty "[Death penalties] should be public, should be quick, should be televised… I think at a certain age, it’s an initiation… At what age should you start to see public executions?" Democrats “The Democrat Party supports everything that God hates.” Empathy "I can't stand the word empathy, actually. I think empathy is a made up new age term that does a lot of damage." Feminism “Reject feminism. Submit to your husband, Taylor. You're not in charge." Gay people “You might want to crack open that Bible of yours. In a lesser referenced part of the same part of scripture, is in Leviticus 18 is that, ‘thou shalt lay with another man shall be stoned to death.’ Just sayin’! So Miss Rachel, you quote Leviticus 19… the chapter before affirms God’s perfect law when it comes to sexual matters.” George Floyd “This guy was a scumbag.” Great Replacement Theory “It's not a Great Replacement Theory, it's a Great Replacement Reality. Just this year, 3.6 million foreigners will invade America. 10-15 million will enter by the end of Joe Biden's term. Each will probably have 3-5 kids on average while native born Americans have 1.5 per couple. You are being replaced, by design.” Guns “It’s worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment.” Jews “Jewish donors have been the number one funding mechanism of radical open-border, neoliberal, quasi-Marxist policies, cultural institutions and nonprofits. This is a beast created by secular Jews and now it’s coming for Jews, and they're like, ‘What on Earth happened?’ And it's not just the colleges. It's the nonprofits, it's the movies, it's Hollywood, it's all of it.” Martin Luther King Jr. “MLK was awful. He's not a good person. He said one good thing he actually didn't believe.” Muslims “They aren’t even hiding their intentions. Muslims plan to conquer Europe by demographic replacement. Will Europe wake up in time?” Palestine “I don’t think the place exists.” Transgender people “You’re an abomination to God.”

200 days into Trump's term, where are we? In the race between Trump's authoritarianism and efforts to resist it, authoritarianism is ahead. And while there are hopeful signs from the public, the chance of effective resistance is fatally undermined by the capitulation of elites.

Shocking how bad this bill is: - 17 million would lose health care - 30% higher electricity costs - Millions of manufacturing and construction jobs destroyed - Biggest ever cut in food assistance for families, kids, veterans - $4 trillion in deficits - $1 trillion in tax cuts for millionaires & billionaires People should be on the phones, in the streets, and telling everyone who’ll listen

You’ve seen this movie before: Maybe Reagan guessed, Bush hoped, and Trump tried—but tax cuts never paid for themselves. Given the mountain of evidence, claiming once again that "tax cuts will pay for themselves" is no longer ideologically motivated optimism. It's a lie.

To our friends & allies across the globe who today stood in solidarity with those of us in the US who are angry, scared, & mortified: thank you for your grace, your light, & your empathy. Thank you for your support of those of us who aren't in the cult. We see you & are grateful.
