Many good things about the latest fed budget: esp housing measures. But the Canada Disability Benefit needs an urgent re-think. Needs to come in July 24 not 2025, and a good deal more than $200. C’mon let’s get this done asap.

Famous Five (statues here in front of Senate) forced Cdn Govt to allow appt of women to the Senate. Till 1930, was a boys-only club. Today 56% sens are women (44% men). Makes for a more collegial & productive legislature. Happy #internationalwomensday. Proud to be on this senate.
