Not trading for Matthew Stafford, who wanted to be a Colt, is by far his worst move.
CBS Sports' @carterbahns highlighted seven moves that contributed to Chris Ballard's firing: 🔹Josh McDaniels hiring fiasco 🔹Carson Wentz trade 🔹Matt Ryan trade 🔹Shane Steichen hiring 🔹Anthony Richardson draft pick 🔹Sauce Gardner trade 🔹Daniel Jones extension Which was the worst? 👀

Daniel Jones is in for one hell of a ride on Sunday. #Colts

Not trading for Matthew Stafford when Stafford wanted to be a Colt is his biggest miss and I’ll argue anyone on it.
Chris Ballard big misses as GM -1st + 3rd RD pick for Carson Wentz -3rd RD pick for Matt Ryan -Inability to draft/extend edge rushers -4th overall pick on A. Richardson -2 1st RD picks + A. Mitchell for Sauce -2 year/$88 M extension for D. Jones 10 years. 0 division titles.

The right choice here. It will also serve as a tryout. If Dodds can trade some guys and get top dollar, it will reflect nicely on him as interim GM. #Colts
Pelissero: Colts assistant general manager Ed Dodds will lead personnel department for rest of season.

Chris Ballard is one of the genuinely good people in football. But as strange as it may sound, I think his loyalty, belief in people and kindness sometimes worked against him. The #Colts went all-in last year after starting 8-2 by trading two 1st-round picks for Sauce Gardner, then gave a massive deal to Daniel Jones off a torn Achilles. It has not worked so far.

This should’ve happened years ago but better late than never.
Colts relieved Chris Ballard of his duties as General Manager.

Wouldn't blame him at all if he requested a trade.

Does CIG have the guts to fire Ballard and Steichen? The season is going nowhere, the roster is awful and the team is uninspired. The last time an HC and GM were fired midseason was in October 2023 when Josh McDaniels and Dave Ziegler got canned.

Cam Taylor-Britt with some of the worst coverage you'll ever there that leads to a DPI. Awful. #Colts

Wow a complete meltdown from the Colts at home. This should be the game to start making some big decisions/firing.

This might be the Colts' worst overall performance of the year, but because it's the Titans they have a good chance of winning. If it were almost any other team, they would be losing.

How the hell is this O-line and Jones going to hold up against the extreme blitzing Vikings front? That could be an ugly one. #Colts

This Colts offense is really not performing well. Giving up 3 turnovers usually leads to a lot more points against, but the Titans are awful so it's not killing them. Jones' bad turnovers will need to stop otherwise they won't be beating any good teams.

No reason for Daniel Jones to throw that to Mallory. You got the lead, you're driving.. just a poor throw and decision that leads to another turnover. #Colts

Same injury as last year... no bueno.
Sauce Gardner just asked out of the game and the trainers appear to be looking at his left calf.

Absolutely beautiful
This is sick: #Ravens OC Declan Doyle lined up TE Josh Cuevas at LG, then released him into a route for a 29-yard gain. Because Cuevas was off the line of scrimmage, he was eligible to go downfield. This is brilliant.

Jalen Travis absolutely cooked on back to back plays. #Colts
