Ooft. Love Primus. Adored Rush. Can't wait. 😍

My first album review for a while, of MWWB's brilliant The Harvest, written for Astral Noize. Such a killer record. 👌 astralnoizeuk.com/2022/03/18… @WizardBastard @newheavysounds @ForthelostPR

RIP Biz Markie. This track with Roxanne Shante soundtracked my long hot summer of 1986. Was living in Harlesden at the time, just as rap and electro blew up. Best memories. youtu.be/_ZIxNDYgVtM #BizMarkie

This week's listening: Conjurer, Stöner, David Bowie, Extreme Noise Terror, Billy Cobham. This week's viewing: Gomorrah. This week's reading: The True Adventures of The Rolling Stones. This week's crisps: Co-op Kaitsu Curry crinkles.

The Beatles released all 13 of their albums in a 7 year period. Rush managed 7 between 1974 and 1978. Those were the days. I've got bands on my label who last released something in 2017 and are still no closer to giving me the follow up.

Isn't it annoying when there's a band pretty much all your mates like, yet however hard you try you just can't get into them? I really should like them. But it just isn't connecting.

My bucket list used to be 1. Start a record label, 2. Put on a gig at Manchester Academy, 3. Have bands on my label play Download, Bloodstock and Desertfest. Ticked the final one yesterday. Need to write a new bucket list now. @Mastiffhchc @PISTband #lifegoals

Thought I'd give the new Gojira album a listen to see what the fuss is about. Needn't have bothered. Yawnfest.
