Mama Dang has offered me a mini packet of biscuits with a cup of tea. This is obviously a complex test..

Am clearing the kitchen clutter in readiness for making sausage rolls. Luckily I have Donna Summer's 'She works hard for the money' to keep me company

I'm back in Surrey with my parents. Mama Dang has offered me cake. Apparently it's already sliced. It's a trap isn't it?

So first day at the Three Counties Food Festival is over. If someone were to ask me what the highlight was, it was probably the middle aged white lady (a fellow exhibitor) tell me that she also made jarred products, but obviously hers were typically English.

I so very rarely come on to twitter these days. It feels like I'm back shouting into the void

I actually went and had a PT session today. Don't worry. I've balanced it by having a large slice of Victoria sponge

Probably the most middle class tweet that I'll do today: Tesco Huntingdon don't appear to sell vegetable shortening 😱 Oh well. Guess it will have to be all butter for my pastry..

I’m in East Croydon. I have voluntarily come here to take my nephews to an all you can play gaming centre. Think we’ve been here three hours so far. The novelty has yet to wear off…
So today a very nice man at the food festival I'm working at completely mistook me for another brand. How did this happen? Well, both of us happen to be Asian. Never mind that the other guy is 6'1. Guess we all look the same
Today I have learned that that people use ’Christmas’ as a verb. E.g ‘So Camilla, where have you decided to Christmas this year?’
Mama Dang has made something interesting for dinner. She called them Abacus seeds. They're like a gnocchi, only they're made with Taro and tapioca flour.

Don’t know if @MarinaOLoughlin or @jayrayner1 have been here, but the idimsum in Kingston is very good

I’m also highly amused that there’s two stalls selling Indian cook books. Both are by very white middle class women. To conform to sweeping stereotypes they’re also wearing Indian textile tops with pashminas 😬
