Interesting day to witness in France. The riots are larger, more mobbish and violent than in 2019. Some "blackblocks" but the bulk is largely immigrant-adjacent youth. LE is largely overwhelmed. Officials are acknowledging it. The mumble is that the show must go on bigger.

interact with a MENA person. They simply are not an issue. Bars and clubs are also very selective for this, and I basically never have to interact with non-Europeans. The problem is not acute for most people as a consequence.
