A German Shepherd was trapped on the balcony for 6 days and was crying, but the building residents were ignoring it. Neither the police nor the management took any action.
It made sounds sometimes barking, sometimes tired moans, and then complete silence.
This morning, the dog could barely stand and was shaking all over.
Then a biker came.
With a strong presence and a calm attitude, he was looking directly at the building.
He then went inside and spoke directly to the janitor that the dog was dying and he was taking it out.
The janitor tried to refuse, but the biker clearly stated he was going.
Then he went behind the building and started climbing through the gutter.
He reached up to the balcony.
The dog was initially scared and growled.
But the biker used no force. He calmly sat down and gently placed water and food.
"I am here," he said.
The dog slowly approached him.
After a while, the police also arrived, but by then the situation had changed.
The dog was now calm, just hungry and weak.
It was taken to the vet.
And the biker?
He came back the next day too.
Then he adopted it.
Now the dog is safe and lives with the same person who climbed the building for him.
The moral of the story:
Sometimes one person's actions can save a life.

Jax and Ruby are both 3 years old. They are both Chihuahua.
They are looking for a new home as sadly their previous offer fell through.
They are both good with older children 13+. A home with no other pets is best as they can be anxious.
Jax and Ruby are both chipped.
They are healthy with no medical issues.
Jax and Ruby eat Bakers meaty meals (small dog) and prefer a softer biscuit.
They also eat wet food (Lily's kitchen) - caesars - butchers and prefer pate over gravy.
They also like boiled chicken, veg and rice once a week.
They can be left alone for a few hours if you need to go out.
Jax and Ruby sleep in with their owner at night and also like a comfy chair with their basket.
They travel well in the car but can be nervous and both are registered at the vets.
They can be anxious meeting new people to begin with but will come around.
They will need time to get use to their new owner, this is very important as they will need patience to settle in as they can be nervous - we think this is due to their size as they are very small.
Jax and Ruby like to go somewhere they know for walks.
They love treats and are both up to date with their vaccinations.
Jax and Ruby would prefer a garden of their own in their new home, a home with a secure enclosed garden is required.
Jax is brown and tan and Ruby is black and tan.

Ella is an 8 year old female Tabby cat. She is looking for a new home. Sadly her previous home offer fell through.
Ella would be best in a quiet home with no other pets or children as she appears to get stressed and will have an accident outside her litter box.
She would be suited to someone who is on their own with a calm quiet home to allow her to relax.
Ella is registered at the vets and has been seen recently. She is healthy and active.
Ella is chipped and spayed.
She eats a mix of wet and dry food and can be left on her own if you need to go out.
Ella will venture outside but won't go as far away as the garden.
She likes to sleep in a cave she made herself in the wardrobe at night or on top of the drawers where there are clothes for her to keep cosy.
She is up to date with her vaccinations and very affectionate. She isn't keen being picked up but will be happy to sit next to you on the sofa or bed.

Our beautiful Lady is struggling with kennel life, and we desperately need your help🙏🏼 #NEWPORT #WALES #UK
Lady is a gorgeous German Shepherd who is incredibly affectionate and absolutely loves being around her humans. She thrives on companionship, love and attention — but sadly, spending around 20+ hours a day in a kennel for the last 6 / 7 weeks is taking its toll on her. 💔
She is doing well with her training and we are seeing lots of small wins and positive progress every day. 🥹❤️ But the reality is that kennel life simply doesn’t allow Lady to reach her full potential.
We truly believe that a foster home could make such a huge difference to this lovely girl.
A home environment would give Lady the chance to decompress, continue building her confidence and work on all the wonderful progress she has already made. Most importantly, it would give her the human companionship she so desperately craves. ❤️
LADY’S HOME NEEDS:
🐶To be the only dog in the home
👧🏻Older children aged 14+
🐶Experience with German Shepherds or other large breeds
❤️A fosterer who is happy to continue with her existing training plan
🚶♂️Someone confident and capable of handling a strong dog, as Lady can be strong on the lead
✨ Lady isn't a lover of other dogs, so she needs a home where she can be your one and only.
She just needs someone confident, committed and willing to give her a chance. Her fosterers will receive ongoing behavioural support from our behaviourist Willow & Wild - Canine Training & Behaviour
We are fortunate enough to have a 2-acre secure field available for our fosterers to use, which will give Lady plenty of opportunity for exercise, enrichment and training in a safe environment.
We desperately want to see this beautiful, affectionate girl in a home where she can relax, flourish and continue to learn. A foster placement could be the stepping stone she needs to help her progress towards finding her forever family.

Found beside the road, weak and starving, with a plastic bucket stuck over her head. 💔 She couldn’t see, eat, or drink. We don’t know how long she suffered alone.
Thankfully, she was rescued. Now she has a chance to heal and feel safe. 🐾❤️

🚨Critically Urgent in Central , CA~Foster or Adopter needed Now
This is so heartbreaking!
This is beautiful , 1 year old Peach and Spot. They came into the shelter together . They are obviously terrified , and are under socialized . It doesn’t seem they have had any positive human interaction💔 They are very bonded.
Volunteers at the shelter are really hoping they can be fostered or adopted together or at least be in families that will let them see each other some.
Both are due to be 💉 tomorrow morning, Weds. 9/16 at 6:30am PT, at Stanislaus Animal Services Agency, in Modesto, CA‼️
A Rescue will need a Foster or Fosters in order to pull them today. Fostering is Free through the shelter if you live within 50 miles of it . Outside that area it’s Free through a Rescue .

URGENT IN BARROW COUNTY, GA‼️ 347 DAYS‼️That’s how long Atka has been at the shelter💔
I remember when I could walk up to his kennel and he would see me coming and wag his tail because he knew he was getting out.💔
This is Atka now. 💔
He barely even lifts his head. No wagging tail. No excitement. It honestly feels like he has completely given up on anyone coming for him.💔And that is one of the hardest parts of watching a dog spend this long in a shelter. They don’t understand why they keep waking up in the same kennel while other dogs come and go.💔
Atka is 7 years old and has been waiting since October 2025.‼️‼️Almost an entire year of his life spent waiting.‼️
The shelter is FULL, and the dogs who have been there the longest are often the ones most at risk.‼️💔
Please share Atka. After 347 days, he deserves to be more than the dog everyone keeps walking past.
