Bill Clinton: âIâm tired of the way we treat our allies like dirt. And just last week, President Trump finally did what he threatened to do when he first ran, which is to abandon Ukraine and embrace Vladimir Putin all over again.â
I hope the American people are also tired of it

Trump salutes absolutely nobody. How symbolic is that? Wait until the 22-second mark of the video and see for yourself just how talentless this actor really is. Everything he has built his entire image on until now is pure fiction. Nothing. Emptiness. A complete void.
The sheer arrogance of @JeevunSandher on #Newsnight is staggering. They take more and more tax from the businesses who create jobs in order to fund Govt job creation schemes! He honestly believes he knows how to grow businesses better than the people who actually do it!

On December 3 the Pentagon will livestream a firing squad shooting the Fort Hood murderer, and the defense secretary thinks you ought to watch.
So let us be precise about the company. The Taliban shoot men in football stadiums. Iran hangs them from cranes in city squares, North Korea gathers crowds for its firing squads, and the Houthis do likewise in Sanaa. That is the entire membership.
A country may call itself the leader of the free world, or it may broadcast executions for the instruction of the masses, but it does not get to do both, and America has made its choice.
Just when you think Cunningham and her Reform acolytes can't sink any lower.....
This says it all.
Kemi Badenoch says she got into politics because she was angry about Africa. How Africa was portrayed. How international development worked. How Africans werenât being heard.
My heritage is African too. But I sure as hell didnât enter politics to ask what Britain could do for Africa.
I entered British politics for one reason: to fight for Britain and the British people.
The country that welcomed my parents. The country that gave me opportunities beyond anything they could have imagined. The country I am proud to call home.
You shouldnât be a politician to use Britain as an instrument for your ancestral homeland.
Britain must be the reason youâre there. Britain. Every single time
Disgraceful conduct which is more representative of the wider police force than they would like to admit.

Can we stop talking about "re-joining the EU"?
The deal we had (opt-out of Schengen, own currency, rebate etc) would no longer be available and the EU today is very different to the EU of 2016.
We would be a new entrant to a new EU - not a "re-joiner".

The quality of the output of @BBCNewsnight is largely a function of the 'nous' of the panel.
Why is Liz Kendall invited on?

Donât you just love it when everyone is laughing at the global village idiot and heâs the only one who doesnât get the joke. Priceless.
Thanks to Pernille Haaland for this gem.

It's birthday present time and we've just ordered a @LeicesterTigers branded rugby ball and Martin Whitcombe's @rugbyauthor excellent book on Chalkie White - Tigers' most famous coach.
Neither - @AndreaPinchen - was available in the Tigers' shop. Lost revenue?
This @BBCNews - THIS.....
Come on @BBCNewsnight - let's not have you behaving like the @DailyMail's marketing dept by promoting yet another book on Diana. This is not news - it's advertising!
Ah well - too late........
Ill thought out drivel from @Samir_Eskanda on @CNN talking to @paulanewtonCNN. He defends the right of free speech to everyone who agrees with him and denies the right to silence to those who seek it.

My words, in Parliament, on March 25th 2026.
We announced these changes six months ago to protect British democracy from dark foreign money â before anybody knew about these latest donations.
The law was clear, accessible and known to Reform in advance.
Maybe Farage should attend Parliament and pay attention.
On @BBCNewsnight, @darrenpjones likens the threat from AI to the threat we once faced from electricity.
Did we ever think that electricity might develop the intelligence to maliciously turn on mankind?
