Damian Willemse has been sorely missed today. Number one priority of a test fullback is to be safe. In that aspect, the gap between Willemse and Fassi/Horn is massive. Willemse saves 14 points from high-ball errors alone today.

Sua'ali'i starts on the LEFT wing today, meaning he lines up on Edwill van der Merwe, not Ethan Hooker. Do the Boks swap Hooker across for a more physical, aerially equipped match-up? Or leave it and hope Edwill can get the better of Sua'ali'i in 1v1 situations?

Spent most of his rugby career in France, swing prop who has mainly played tighthead. Looking very strong at loosehead. Sharks have unbelievable prop stocks going into this season.

Hard to believe Litelihle Bester and Suleiman Hartzenberg are the same age considering how long Hartzenberg has been a URC regular. However, it’s great to see Bester looking really at home at this level. The Shark’s young backline is showing off: 9 Jaden Hendrikse (26) 10 Vusi Moyo (20) 11 Litelihle Bester (23) 12 Janco Purchase (20) 13 Jurenzo Julius (22) 14 Suleiman Hartzenberg (23) 15 Luan Giliomee (20)

All of them have performed well. Janco Purchase does incredibly well in creating the second try. Bester brilliant throughout the first half. Hendrikse looking more himself. Moyo a very composed 20 year old. Giliomee lethal.
