Big moment. I actually have my actual debut album in my actual hands. Worked on it for the last four years, worked towards it for the previous 25. Forever grateful to @darkoutside for making it happen.
Christmas money burning a hole in your pocket? Allow me to assist! 馃榿馃槄 I'm selling the near-immaculate MIDI-retrofitted Jupiter-4 that I used on The Dark is Rising (eg it made nearly all the sounds on "Liht Mec Heht Gewyrcan"). Get in touch if you're interested, trades welcomed.
Look at all these Dark Is Risings!
#TheDarkIsRising on @darkoutside cassette, @CastlesInSpace vinyl and two different editions of the book including my favourite cover by Michael Heslop.
It's a strong start to #TDIR season from Mr Gill. Can anyone beat four Darks in one photo??

Tonight's listening comes in the form of the fantastic album by 'Handspan' @AnalogueRob - The Dark is Rising. Taking me off into a Medieval wonderland of beautifully crafted masterpieces. Wonderful stuff from the @CastlesInSpace subscription library #nowspinning

#NowPlaying I have been seriously looking forward to this and OMG I am not disappointed! The Dark Is Rising formerly on @darkoutside by @AnalogueRob on @CastlesInSpace with art by @nicktee_art Everything about this: music, art, pressing is very special indeed. Just so so good.
Most of us who use our Twitter feed primarily as a place to build a community around our music... tend to hold back on expressing views like this. But perhaps we shouldn't. Kudos W-R for telling it like it is, and for phrasing it so splendidly.

What 2ManyDJs did for pop music, this book does for spooky classic kids' stories. Garner, Cooper, Serraillier, Baum, Lewis, Pullman, Gaiman, they all make glorious cameos and get gleefully remixed into one universe. Clever, atmospheric, heartily recommended. #TheDarkIsRising

Please note the way we have re-enacted the actual battle between the Dark and the Light, life-size, right there on the disc. No expense spared to bring you the very best in existential conflict vinyl.

As a little treat for @CastlesInSpace Subscription Library folks, #TheDarkIsRising is available from today as a digital release on Bandcamp. This is the new partially remixed re-release, beautifully remastered by @RedRedPaw & with new art by @nicktee_art.
The vinyl itself will be along a little later, but we figured you subscribers wouldn't want to be without TDIR over midwinter, Christmas and new year. That probably allows Mr Mitothin into your living room or something. Best avoided.
The new version is subscription-only. If you're not currently a CiS library subscriber and you want to become one, have a word with @CastlesInSpace
It's midwinter! Happy Dark Is Rising Day, everyone.
Insert cassette into player, hit play, open book to chapter one, and off we go.
