Today, @bancosantander’s board has announced its decision to pay a cash dividend against the first-half of 2026 results of 12.7 euro cents per share.
This marks the fifth consecutive year of double-digit growth in our interim cash dividend, which has increased 162% over the period. Together with the share buyback announced against our first-half 2026 results, represents €3.7 billion of shareholder remuneration, rising to €6.9 billion when including the extraordinary buyback linked to the sale of Santander Poland.

For decades, the iconic building on Paseo de Pereda, overlooking the bay of Santander, has been our headquarters and an important part of our history.
Today, it begins a new chapter as Faro Santander: a modern museum where people of all ages can discover, exchange ideas and learn.
Its transformation is about more than a building. It is a powerful symbol of something we are experiencing across Santander: the ability to build on our history while changing for the future.
As Faro Santander has been transformed, we have been transforming our bank.
Together, we are building a simpler, more integrated and more global Santander. One that is better prepared and better able to serve our customers.
We can all be proud of how far we have come.
But change is constant. We must continue to challenge ourselves, embrace change and keep building the Santander we want for the future.
