Sharon Polk, a fifth grader at @IPSBenHarrison2, recently learned that the @indylibrary selected her artwork for the cover of its annual holiday card, which is being distributed to select library patrons and donors.
“I think that librarians don’t get enough recognition, and it is important to honor what they do,” Polk said. “Books have made me who I am, and for me to have a way to celebrate that is very exciting and meaningful to me.”

Last week, @EliLillyandCo volunteers joined @PacersSportsEnt, @PacersBoomer, @FreddyFever at @IPSBenHarrison2 to kickoff the 2025-26 NBA Math Hoops season.
NBA Math Hoops is more than a game—it’s a dynamic way to build math fluency, executive function, and teamwork. Students draft NBA and WNBA players using real-life stats, then solve math problems under the pressure of a shot clock to score points and win games.
