Israel has spent years trying to explain to the world what it has been dealing with. Maybe our most effective PR campaign was never going to come from Israel at all.
Maybe it’s this...👇

Bibi said that Macron called him on October 7 and urged a ceasefire.
Bibi said no, Hamas are monsters and the way to solve this is to destroy them.
“If we don’t stop Hamas here, you’ll see them in Paris, and that’s exactly what is happening right now.”

Steve Hilton said he’d buy me a gallon of gas if I produced a viral ad for his campaign. California dems have voted the same way for years and all our friends are fleeing the state.
It’s time to vote different. It's OK to vote different.
Just try it!

University debate: "The most vegan meal on earth is a grass-fed steak."
Vegan: "I'm sorry, I've read the motion three times. Is it a misprint?"
Anthropologist: "No."
Vegan: "You're going to stand in front of four hundred people and tell them a steak is vegan."
Anthropologist: "The most vegan. I'd like credit for the full claim."
Vegan: "It's a dead cow."
Anthropologist: "One. What did you have for lunch?"
Vegan: "A lentil and rice bowl. Nothing died for it."
Anthropologist: "It came off a ploughed field. Mice, voles, ground nests, every insect in it, cleared out several times a year by a machine the width of this stage. One bullock feeds a person for twelve months. I'm on one death. You lost count at the starter."
Vegan: "Those are accidents."
Anthropologist: "I'll let the voles know it wasn't personal."
Vegan: "Fine. The planet. Cattle take up enormous amounts of land."
Anthropologist: "Hill, rain and grass. Land no plough can touch. He eats what grew there by itself and nobody has to clear a thing. Your lentils needed the field emptied first."
Vegan: "We could rewild it."
Anthropologist: "With what?"
Vegan: "...Grazing animals."
Anthropologist: "I've brought some."
Vegan: "This is absurd. Humans can get everything they need from plants."
Anthropologist: "There's a lawn outside. Help yourself."
Vegan: "We can't digest grass."
Anthropologist: "He can. Four stomachs and a vat of bacteria. He's the only system on earth that gets everything out of a plant, and he hands it over as protein, iron and the B12 you're taking as a tablet."
Vegan: "So your argument is that the cow is vegan."
Anthropologist: "Strictly. Never touched meat in his life. I'm simply eating a plant-based diet that's been finished properly."
Vegan: "You cannot call that vegan."
Anthropologist: "Fewest deaths, no plough, no supplements. If you've a better word for what you were after, I'll use it."
Moderator: "Time."
Vegan: "I'd like the motion read out again."
Moderator: "It's still not a misprint."

The continuing double-standard in U.S. universities for genocidal antisemitism. No university would permit under their "speech codes" a racist organization to hold a vigil on Juneteenth or a celebration on the anniversary of the assassination of MLK, but pro-Hamas orgs promoting genocide of Jews is perfectly fine on anniversary of October 7. There shouldn't be speech codes at all, and this demonstrates one of the reasons: it's impossible to apply them neutrally without favoring one political position over another, and currently the favored political position in the U.S. academy is that of woke Brownshirts, as everyone saw in the campus "protests" from October 8, 2023 through 2025.
Question:
How is SJP still a @Stanford org , and how are they being allowed to have an “ALL-DAY VIGIL” in the Center of Campus on & to mark October 7?

If this was ever in doubt, the left erased it completely following its massive *yawn* after January 2026 and the slaughter of 10s thousands of civilians by the Islamic regime of Iran.
There's a deeper reason for this, and it also explains why it's not hypocrisy: the reason the left doesn't protest the Islamic regime while invoking at the same time the genocidal slogan of "Free Palestine" is that they are both born of the same nihilistic and collectivist ideology that seeks the destruction of the West for its virtues. The Islamic regime represents a force seeking the same goal, as do the genocidal Arabs who seek the destruction of Israel and the genocide of Jews.
White hot rage.
Collective sacrifice on the alter of "public health."
Never forget.
Hoax alert! I've never heard the administration claiming anything like this, nor have I heard it in my right wing bubble. I asked Grok and it first supported Filipkowski but when pushed to give me the full statements from Trump et all about gas prices, it relented.
I've been thinking about this issue and I'm glad to see @SteaknShake naming it. I don't know enough to judge if the proposed change is the right one (and it won't solve cronyism), but it's directionally correct. Huzzah!
America’s corporate governance system is broken, and it’s killing public companies. Look no further than Cracker Barrel: Decades of brutal mismanagement have seen one incompetent CEO after another walk away with a massive paycheck while customers and actual shareholders take a beating.
Why does this keep happening? Because proxy advisory firms like ISS are corrupt. They blindly rubber-stamp failing boards year after year, protecting the corporate elite while burning shareholder value to the ground.
The root of the rot is index funds. There's no question that indexing one's money is a smart financial move for most people. But just because you passively index your investments doesn't mean your corporate votes should be handed over to the managers of your fund so they can play politics. Right now, passive funds hold massive, unchecked voting blocks while having zero skin in the game themselves.
It is time for a simple rewrite of the rules: We need to index the votes of index fund investors.
Passive index funds should be forced to automatically split their votes to proportionately mirror those of retail and active institutional shareholders — the people actually doing the research, risking their capital, and fighting for performance in the companies they hold shares in. No more rubber-stamping. A change like this will immediately strip corrupt gatekeepers like ISS of their toxic influence.
True accountability happens when lazy, overpaid boards actually answer to the stakeholders they represent, rather than screwing them over.
Actual, logic-driven governance when your money is passive happens when your vote passively follows the voting decisions of the actual market.
We need to stop letting passive capital protect active incompetence. By stripping index funds of their arbitrary voting power and empowering engaged investors, we will finally torch corporate cronyism and usher American capital markets into a golden age of capitalism.
This is the first architectural proposal from Trump that I take issue with. So there's going to be an Arch, but it's filled with weapons? It'll need to be patrolled by men with guns. Hard no. Luckily, a Trump tweet is about as meaningful as a Biden fart.
President Donald J. Trump announced that he has agreed to convert the planned 250 foot Triumphal Arch at Memorial Circle, near Arlington Memorial Bridge, into what he calls a "top grade Military Complex." President Trump said the change was made at the request of the U.S. military for national security purposes. He said the facility will store and rapidly deploy large numbers of drones and snipers on the roof and plaza areas, along with large quantities of sniper ammunition.
The one sector governments left mostly alone delivered forty years of continuous price collapse and it destroyed the central planners' core argument in the process.
A transistor that cost $7.50 in 1961 costs less than a millionth of a cent today. Your 2026 smartphone carries more computing power than a 1990 Cray supercomputer that cost $30 million. Storage, bandwidth, processing speed: every metric deflated while quality exploded. This is what markets do when the state steps back.
Compare that to healthcare, education, and housing, three sectors drowning in subsidies, licensing regimes, and regulatory capture. Prices in all three outpaced inflation every decade since 1980. Government intervention reprices risk, blocks competition, and rewards incumbents for lobbying instead of innovating.
The Federal Reserve spent those same forty years printing money and insisting deflation was catastrophic. Falling prices drive demand, not panic. Intel, Apple, and AMD competed ferociously, drove costs down, and generated trillions in real wealth. Nobody waited to buy a computer because prices might fall next year.
Mises identified capital allocation as the economy's core problem: who decides where resources go? Entrepreneurs decided in tech, taking losses when wrong and profits when right. Bureaucrats decided in healthcare and education, socializing losses and mandating consumption.
You live with the consequences of that distinction every single day, every time you renew your health insurance and watch the premium climb while your phone bill drops.

What if someone went back in time to kill Hitler only to bring to power a Nazi general who was smart enough not to invade Russia, causing Germany to win the war?
These Effective Altruists are dunces with their ideas about manipulating the future. Someone might have to go back in time from 2098 and deal with them.
