“If they really are refugees, why don’t they have to stay in the first safe country they reach?”
“Why don’t they just claim asylum in France?”
Here is my answer, once & for all. To Jonathan Gullis, and to everyone else who ever wondered.

Probably the top software course now on the face of planet earth and we’re lucky enough to have it in Ireland. The behind the scenes work gone into this program is insane. If you’ve got future software engineers in your house, this needs to be on their list.
Fun to meet the winners of the @joinpatch_ and @ImmersiveSE TECS awards at @UL today, including overall winner Abutalha Alam (a fellow @CastletroyC student 😊)! Only 26 days left to remember to put Immersive Software Engineering on your CAO 🤓

The Health & Care Bill is back in the Commons tmrw.
It divides the NHS into 42 areas led by Integrated Care Boards which - incredibly - private companies will be allowed to sit on.
I believe private companies should *never* get a say in how the NHS is run.
Pls RT if you do too

Who is this Bill designed to protect? Not women, not Travellers, not trade unionists, not Black people, not climate change protestors. Not us. Which is why I will be voting against this Bill tonight.

Whoever voted for this shitshower of a government, I truly hope at the next elections you don't forget their incompetence, corruption and bare faced racism.
This will go down in history as one of the most corrupt governments in UK history. Its a free for all in Westminster

We are one of over 200 organisations to sign this letter with @libertyhq, @friends_earth and more.
Part 4 of the concerning #PolicingBill aims to criminalise trespass and give police powers to seize and destroy the homes of Gypsy and Traveller families.

Linda has wiped herself off the Internet, including her YouTube channel, perhaps hoping this will die down and it will all go away soon. Linda and her group of supporters are what I describe as Ireland’s “respected”racists. They will try to their privilege to get away with this.

We are the Stop CETA Ireland campaign.
Our aim is to stop this incredibly damaging trade deal being fully ratified, working with other organisations and activist circles towards a common goal.

Dear minister @HMcEntee this is a tweet from an exhausted and distressed mum that has spent the last 7yrs in DP. The past few days has been exceptionally difficult, I've lost my will to hope for a better future. If anything happens to me, kindly take care of my kids. I'm tired😭.

The super-rich and big corporations dodge £90 billion in tax every year, but we're told to get angry at asylum seekers who have to live on just £37.75 a week? 🤨
So I'm doing a thing. Still in early development, will be launching proper at the start of next month but working on some early projects in the background. If you are up for a follow I'd appreciate it! X
Count down to launch has commenced
