In Lebanon, displacement and humanitarian needs remain high.
Thank you to our donors and partners, including flexible funding supporters, for working with @UNmigration to deliver practical assistance and protection, guided by dignity and shared responsibility.
Happy Easter!
As Easter is observed across the world, I’m thinking of Christian communities in the Middle East and beyond marking Good Friday amid ongoing tension.
In Lebanon, I saw people working tirelessly to preserve dignity and stability.

I came to Sudan to listen.
At Al Afad camp, I met families who fled Al Fasher. A mother who lost her husband and children. Girls just nine years old now displaced and traumatized.

At last week's #ARF2025, one thing stayed with me.
For every $1 invested in prevention, we save $16 in crisis response.
That's not just money. It's lives changed.
We have the tools and evidence, now we need the courage to choose prevention over firefighting.

The desert, the sea, the fear. Sennait survived them all and found hope at @UNmigration’s centre in Sana’a.
Her story reminds us why protection matters and why no one should face this journey alone.
