🏥 After 4 months in hospital, today I've been discharged. I'm coming home.
🌈 To the miracle team at @NHSGGC PDRU - now my second family - thank you ♥️ I can never, ever repay you.
🚶♀️I was wheeled in here. Now I'm walking out. I'm just getting started too ✌

Three years ago, my Dad died after suffering a stroke. He had to wait 17 hours for a thrombectomy as it was not available 24/7.
Today, @JohnSwinney invoked my Dad’s name to announce the Scottish Government’s commitment to 24/7 thrombectomy.
Not the first time Quentin Letts has crossed a line with women MPs.
When I was an MP, he was vile and openly ableist towards me.
Women are elected to Parliament to do the same job as men, not to be called a “distraction”. There is no place for this misogyny in our politics.
As per usual Denise is on the right side of history.
Out protecting women and girls, whilst these thugs turned it into something it wasn't. Like they usually do.
Maybe they're not actually concerned about protecting women and girls at all?
Replying to @thisisgoradio
The event drew counter protesters. They said they agreed with efforts to make Glasgow’s streets safer for women, but that the focus should be on all dangerous men.
Our attempt to interview one woman was repeatedly interrupted.

Scotland days at school, kids faces painted in saltires at nursery, the excitement and togetherness that this tournament brought to everyone in our country means so much to us all.
No one wanted to progress more than us players, and as much as the experiences and memories we’ll share will last forever, that doesn’t take away from how much this still hurts.
What the gaffer has given this group, on and off the pitch, has been immense. Not only by taking us to major tournaments but by how together we have felt as a squad and as a nation. Representing Scotland means everything to us and to him I’ll be forever grateful.
I hope the generation of young Scots who experienced this World Cup grow up believing that seeing Scotland on this stage is the new norm.
Thanks to everyone in the stands and in the streets of Boston and Miami, and to everyone back home for the incredible support.
Proud to be Scottish 🏴💙

Election rules mean I can’t say much on polling day, but I can say this.
Tomorrow STV's scheduled Scottish election programme from 5pm will be replaced by an episode of quiz show, The Chase, as staff go on strike over a decision to freeze salaries.

Nine years to the day since it came into force, the two child limit and the rape clause are scrapped.
Thinking of all the families whose lives were made harder and who struggled to get by for all these years.
Always grateful to everyone who stood against this cruel policy.
Today the UK Gov bring in the vile, cruel #rapeclause. @scotwomensaid @EngenderScot @rapecrisisscot @RCCGlasgow say #ScrapTheRapeClause
Scrap the rape clause
The UK Government is now making women prove whether their child was conceived by rape to qualify for tax credits in one of the most appalling policies ever to emanate from Westminster.

After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today.
I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby.
It has been an honor serving under @POTUS and @DNIGabbard and leading the professionals at NCTC.
May God bless America.

Ukraine will need extensive security guarantees after the war to deter Russia from renewed aggression.
The Coalition of the Willing exists to turn plans into real protection. Leaders met in Paris today to lock in those security guarantees. A stronger Ukrainian military, backed by a multinational force and U.S. support.
Our priority is ending the war, but right now, Russia flatly rejects peace.
