If you look at the people in your circle and don’t get inspired, you don’t have a circle. You have a cage. - Nipsey Hussle
Is it me or has traffic in Mumbai increased exponentially across all suburbs? Major roads, even by lanes are log jammed with incessant honking by vehicles. The less said about those driving SUVs the better😒
#Mumbai #traffic #nocivicsense
Don’t steal the only view of a water body away from us, you heartless souls!
#Mumbai #arabiansea
I don’t care if the perpetrator/attacker is an 8 year old or 13 year old. You resort to barbaric acts and try to kill someone- you need to be tried as an adult and deserve the strictest form of punishment ever. No remorse for that ‘demon’ or the family.
Yes this.
The problem with highlighting drawbacks in Indian city infrastructure even basic ones like roads and footpaths is -
If you compare with a developing countries like SriLanka, Thailand or Malaysia people will defend that it has been developed by China, they have less population, blah blah blah.
If you compare with bigger economies like Japan, China, US then people will defend that they are developed countries so it's wrong to compare our cities with them.
So what do people really want Indian cities to be compared with? Nigeria, Guinea-Bissau or Angola?
If yes then we should be happy wherever we are and not expect anything.
But of course we will do the exact opposite 😒
Absolute stupidity from the concerned authorities in #Mumbai
Traffic. Pollution. Smog. Rising tempers. Rampant construction. Crowded public spaces. Lack of green spaces.
Welcome to #Mumbai 😒😷

Important update: Plz save the numbers.
With recurring technical glitches affecting the 101 emergency helpline operated through MTNL, the Mumbai Fire Brigade has introduced five alternative mobile numbers.
BMC announced the additional numbers on Wednesday. Citizens can call 9076333101, 9076333102, 9076333103, 9076333104 or 9076333105 to seek assistance during fires, building collapses, road accidents, tree falls, drowning incidents and other emergencies.
The script writing, dialogues and the acting is a class apart in #TheDiplomatS4 👌🏻
Gang reign back in Mumbai. Back to 90s Bombay.
Pathetic and crumbling infrastructure and now we are heading towards lawlessness too.
God knows what the concerned authorities are upto.
It is better to avoid going to places of worship that become death traps during festive occasions. The authorities don’t care and will never take any accountability. You just end up becoming a statistic for them. Ex gratia announcement, PR hosp visit and blame game begins.
Bloody construction work starts at 5:30am and now this ridiculous announcement. We are definitely regressing and how!
As usual only on paper, ground reality is 🎇🎆
Mumbai Police have banned bursting firecrackers on public roads and the use of high-intensity laser lights across the city till December 4, with the restrictions starting from midnight on October 6.
The preventive order aims to control air and noise pollution and prevent safety hazards, following directions from the Bombay High Court in a suo motu PIL on environmental issues.

Incredible new details emerge on what happened in the cockpit of the Flydubai flight in this conversation between Captain Smit Machchar and the Israeli PM - this is my transcription:
"It was a normal flight and the co-pilot wanted to pray ... which a lot of locals do pray ... which is not out of the ordinary. While he was praying, out of respect, I was looking at the front and not at the back and suddenly, after about four-five minutes, there was a big blow to the back of my head. My first thought was that there was catastrophic damage to the aircraft, that something is not right ... but after that the blows kept coming, one after the other and that's when I realise that it's not the aircraft, it's the other guy who is in the cockpit with me. I did try and stop him but because of his initial blows, my vision was almost like nothing and I was completely blurred out. And at that point, the next feeling I had was that the aircraft was sharply going down. My memory is still in bits and pieces right now but this is what I remember out of that time and I did try and manage to open the door once but I think he shut it back - closed. And at this point, I remember, I was lying down in the cockpit floor and I felt the aircraft and the whooshing sound and people screaming and as I was telling the Ambassador here, I had that one last fight left in me and .. you know ... call it personal or call it for people, I did it because if I don't do it I am going to die and that's when I pushed against everything .. I gave everything that I had and went for the door and opened the door and thankfully, people were waiting to pounce back ... took over control and the rest is what you know, Sir."
