Good to see E&E news reporting that electric vehicles do drive a similar number of miles as gasoline vehicles (contrary to studies with outdated samples and old EV models showing the opposite). Data from our EV buyer survey shows EVs travel 11,520 miles per year.
Critics are questioning the analysis of a recent study published by the National Bureau of Economic Research that found as of 2017, EVs on California roads traveled less than half the distance driven by an average gas-powered vehicle.
