Palmer amaranth has evolved resistance to number of foliar active herbicides. This project was designed to evaluate if residual herbicides applied pre-emergence as well as post-emergence can provide season-long control of Palmer amaranth in soybean. Ankit Yadav, a PhD student, discusses row spacing with herbicides.

Hairy vetch is an important legume cover crop that can convert atmospheric nitrogen into nitrogen that can be used by grass crops such as popcorn. It can also suppress weeds and provide nitrogen; however, terminating hairy vetch is important. Sai Suvidh Maddela is a PhD student speaking in video.
