Leftists swore they’d kill X by fleeing to Bluesky in 2024. 2 years later, X still pulls about 40x the daily users.
After the 2024 election, the Guardian ditched X over “disturbing content,” journalists and celebrities piled in calling Bluesky the healthier option, and the app briefly hit roughly 22 million monthly users.
Then the numbers tanked.
By mid 2026, monthly users had dropped about 52% to around 10.7 million even as registered accounts neared 46 million.
In March, the CEO stepped down and handed it off. Bluesky is now at about 3 million daily users while X logs roughly 124 million.
Those who announced the exodus mostly just moved their loudest voices into a much smaller room, while the platform they abandoned kept growing without them.
Elon fired roughly 80% of Twitter’s staff without crashing the site the way every “expert” swore it would.
After the November 2022 cuts and the “hardcore” ultimatum that drove hundreds of engineers out the door, the remaining team handled record World Cup traffic that was supposed to break the platform.
When Musk later told the BBC the cuts were painful but necessary to avoid bankruptcy, the results were already clear.
Zuckerberg watched it happen, called 2023 Meta’s “year of efficiency,” and cut about 21,000 jobs while saying the leaner Twitter was probably good for the industry.
4 years later, X still runs on a fraction of the old headcount, which shows the large staff everyone religiously believed was essential was mostly optional the entire time.

Scott Galloway recently said Elon will "potentially go down as the agent of the greatest manslaughter in the history of mankind."
Galloway blinds himself with rage against people he politically despises. Clouds any sense of rational judgment.
Scott Galloway says Tesla is the patient in Musk's SpaceX merger and SpaceX shareholders are the organ donors
"It's a real merger with a fake promise. When Musk merges something into another, it's an acknowledgement that it's about to crater."
"He stuffed Twitter into xAI, which then got folded into SpaceX. His M&A strategy is simple. When one of his kids is failing, he makes another family adopt it."
"So, right now, Tesla is the patient and SpaceX is the organ donor or SpaceX shareholders are the organ donor."
"So, who wins? Tesla shareholders... That's like trading, you know, your Buick for a piece of a Gulfstream."

This is the Hillary Clinton I know.
As some of you know, I was the Air Force Military Aide for Bill Clinton, lived in the White House, traveled everywhere they traveled, and carried the “nuclear football.” As such, I was always in close proximity to both Bill and Hill.
Among the military who served in the White House and the professional White House staff, the Clinton administration was infamously known for its lack of professionalism and courtesy, though few ever spoke about it. But when it came to rudeness, it was Hillary Clinton who was the most feared person in the administration. She set the tone. From the very first day in my assignment.
When I first arrived to work in the White House, my predecessor warned me. “You can get away with pissing off Bill but if you make her mad, she’ll rip your heart out.” I heeded those words. I did make him mad a few times, but I never really pissed her off. I knew the ramifications.
I learned very quickly that the administration’s day-to-day character, whether inside or outside of DC, depended solely on the presence or absence of Hillary. Her reputation preceded her. We used to say that when Hillary was gone, it was a frat party. When she was home, it was “Schindler’s List.”
In my first few days on the job, and remember I essentially lived there, I realized there were different rules for Hillary. She instructed the senior staff, including me, that she didn’t want to be forced to encounter us. We were instructed that “whenever Mrs. Clinton is moving through the halls, be as inconspicuous as possible.” She did not want to see “staff” and be forced to “interact” with anyone. No matter their position in the building.
Many a time, I’d see mature, professional adults, working in the most important building in the world, scurrying into office doorways to escape Hillary’s line of sight. I’d hear whispering, “She’s coming, she’s coming!” I could be walking down a West Wing hallway, midday, busier than hell, people doing the administration’s work whether in the press office, medical unit, wherever. She’d walk in and they’d scatter.
She was the Nazi schoolmarm and the rest of us were expected to hide as though we were kids in trouble. I wasn’t a kid, I was a professional officer and pilot. I said “I’m not doing that.”
There was also a period of time when she attempted to ban military uniforms in the White House. It was the reelection year of 1996, and she was trying to craft the narrative that the military was not a priority in the Clinton administration. As a military aide, carrying the football, and working closely with the Secret Service, I objected to that. It simply wasn’t a matter of her political agenda; it was national security. If the balloon went up, the Secret Service would need to find me as quickly as possible. Seconds matter. Finding the aide in military uniform made complete sense. Besides, what commander in chief wouldn’t want to advertise his leadership and command? She finally relented because the Secret Service weighed in.
The Clintons are corrupt beyond words. Hillary is evil, vindictive, and profane. Hillary is a bitch.

Was this justified?
TESLA/SPACEXSI
The Special Committees have already been formed. But some don’t understand the ramifications.
♦️Some say the Special Committee has been formed, so do nothing.
BUT The Special Committee represents us shareholders. They can guess what we think, OR we could just tell them. Thousands of shareholders chose the latter and signed the Letter to ask for expeditious action. Inaction was costly to Tesla in losing out on xAI, we don’t want that to happen again.
♦️Some assume a deal is a given.
Elon Musk specifically said it is not a given on the SpaceX earnings call.
♦️Some debate timing.
It is NOW - or NEVER. The special committee was already formed. That ship SAILED. There won’t be special committees again. Failed merger attempts are just that, failed.
♦️Some ask us to dictate terms.
Even Elon Musk had to let the normal process work - and can’t dictate terms or timing or share exchange ratios. And he founded both companies. We can’t either. But we can, and did, ask that the ATH, and internal growth & revenue targets for Optimus & CyberCab be considered.
♦️Some say operate separately.
BUT The Joint Ventures aren’t meant to be permanent. They are pure bureaucracy, friction and liability. They were a framework that achieved a headstart on what talented engineers from both companies can do together. They are now the unnecessary part to be deleted. Elon Musk doesn’t need to work at all. His time should not be spent in conflict committees.
♦️Some say do nothing.
See again: You could let the Board guess, or you could just tell them shareholders are in favor.
50% + 1 of outstanding shareholders is an almost IMPOSSIBLY high bar. Broker non-votes count as NO. Many foreign investors can’t vote. The deal terms HAVE to be extremely compelling to turn undecided investors and institutions into YES VOTES. The Special Committee, and M&A Bankers/Lawyers have a fiduciary duty to gain the best terms they can.
A letter doesn’t change a share exchange ratio. A letter says that shareholders will mobilize - in the face of an compelling deal -to get over 50% outstanding shares voting in favor and get the deal over the line.

Grace Carol Brown 22 of New Braunfels faces a Texas t*rrorism charge after a January fire at the Comal County Republican Party headquarters.
⠀
On Jan 14 employees found a broken exterior window and a small fire that caused only minor damage with no injuries at the Landa Street building which also houses other businesses.
⠀
A Comal County grand jury indicted her in April on the first degree t*rrorism count along with earlier state arson and burglary charges.
⠀
Federal prosecutors later added an indictment for actual and attempted malicious damage by fire alleging she broke a window threw in a backpack containing ethanol gasoline a lighter and matches then lit a rolled magazine and tossed it inside after failing to climb through.
⠀
She allegedly left a note calling the local GOP the Nazi Party of New Braunfels and attacking ICE and certain executive branch officials she labeled enemies of the Constitution.
⠀
Brown was arrested without incident on Jan 22 after search warrants and if convicted faces five to 20 years on the federal charge.
⠀
Political disagreement belongs at the ballot box and anyone who tries to settle it with fire deserves serious consequences if the allegations are proven.
