Six years ago, Beth Dobbin was competing at the highest level of international sport, representing Team GB at the Tokyo Olympics. Now, she is bedbound for up to 22 hours a day after being diagnosed with ME. Commonly known as chronic fatigue syndrome, the condition has been described by Dobbin as “life-decimating”. She has written a letter calling on the Prime Minister to meet with her and commit to more funding for research. Dobbin’s fellow athletes Keely Hodgkinson, Tom Daley and Dina Asher-Smith have also signed the letter. #ME #illness #Olympics

It’s still so crazy to me seeing ME / CFS on like the big tv on shows that so many people watch

YEAH!! FIGHT FOR US GIRLIE!!
A massive well done to @BethDobbin on @GMB this morning, making clear how badly ME has been neglected and fighting her socks off for the community (despite the personal cost)🔥 We hope @edballs prediction proves right and that she hears from Downing Street very soon.

I have just finished the crow coven books by Milena McKay (3 so far, the 4th out next year) and those are good, they get MUCH better as the series goes on The Redwood Bargain by Markelle Grabo is good A legacy of Blood and Bone is too, definitely gets better as you keep reading

Immortal game by Allison Shaft is also good Gladiator Goddess by Morgan H Owen, this one was so good Her Spell That Binds Me is a classic, the second one has tons more angst, the first one isn’t very angsty until the end part

I actually 1000% agree with this, as a more recent and younger Zelda fan who has only played BOTW and TOTK I LOVE that they remade this game because people talk about the old games a LOT and I just have no clue And when if I worked on the series that lack of knowledge isn’t great
Eiji Aonuma says he decided to remake Ocarina of Time in part to help train the younger staff on future Zelda games: "This year marks the 40th anniversary of the very first Legend of Zelda game. With that in mind, I was thinking about what I should create as the producer of the series. Many of the team members who work alongside me on Legend of Zelda games today have only experienced developing the more recent titles. That led me to wonder, 'Do they truly understand just how significant The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time was to the series as a whole?' Of course, there are team members who vaguely know the game, and those who played it in their childhood days. But I started to wonder how they'd interpret The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time as they go about developing future Legend of Zelda games. By learning the game structure and development style behind the original The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and by actually rebuilding it as a full remake, it may trigger new insights that they can carry forward into future development. If we could achieve that, I thought it would be incredibly valuable. That’s what led us to the conclusion that now is the right time to revisit The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time once again." nintendo.com/us/whatsnew/ask…

I’m seeing CFS stuff on my tl!! My personal experience is being fatigued 24/7, some days I literally sleep for 12 hours, everything requires more effort I live a few hours away from the closest CFS clinic, I was denied from every clinic in the country because I am able to work.

Hi everyone, we’ve been working on something 🙏🏼 I’ve written a second letter to Andy Burnham, alongside 360 sports people, to urge him to meet with me and fund research into my much neglected health issue which impacts millions of others. I can’t believe 360 people signed in just 1 week, so many amazing names and messages still coming in of people wanting to add theirs (so feel free to message to add yours, we’re keeping on the pressure!!!) The list includes 114 Olympians, with 77 medals between them (and that’s not even including Worlds and Europeans 🤯). Also some huge names from football and many other sports!! Thank you SO much to everyone that signed, I can’t tell you how much it means to me when I’m truly at rock bottom ❤️❤️❤️ I know everyone wants their issues taken seriously, but this has been neglected like nothing else. WE HAVE 0 APPROVED TREATMENTS!!! Please listen 🙏🏼 @andyburnham @number10gov @UKLabour @DHSCgovuk
