First ever gilded piece on the account (and maybe ever outside of leagues since I don't remember getting it on RS3 either...)
3a when though?
Got around to Shadows of Amascut over the past few days, big fan of the Desert & Mahjarrat storylines so it was a fun read!
~18 years later and there's now two 'scape books on my shelf, ebay prices make me wish I got physical copies of the Betrayal at Falador sequels though 🙃
The rare not-pvm achievement (that I didn't realise until checking the log for something else just now)
Been doing a bunch of Mortimer tasks recently which has been kinda nice for getting clues, gotta get 3rd Age one day... Surely?
Sometimes I consider making an Ironman account, then sometimes it takes 56.3m slayer xp for an Eternal Gem
Good changes :)
Still feels like there's a ton of rng involved but at least felt like I was playing well enough to kinda deserve it!
PSA: 📢 We've just rolled out the following hotfixes to Pete Kayer's Challenges:
🐟 Pete's attack delay after healing in Pete's Final Challenge has been increased from a base of 3 ticks to 5 ticks.
💀 Entering a PvP Challenge with an Amulet of Avarice equipped will now reset your skull upon leaving the challenge.

Only got to try the last one for an hour or so and ow.
Feel like an actually fair fight but best of 3 would have been a better way to show you've got the hang of things instead of needing some insane outplays (and rng) in a very unfair best of 1 :')
Ready to master key skills for PvP and PvM? Talk to Pete Kayer at Ferox Enclave to take on his challenges! ⚔️
Plus, net traps now stack in your inventory.

Just about recovered from Runefest exhaustion in time for RuneFlu to hit, nice.
Bonus obligatory merch haul pic because I forgot until now:
Forever jealous of the capsule toys/figures you can get in Japan, meanwhile in the UK the best you're gonna spot without going to some extremely niche location is these abominations...

This news has gone a bit viral and has made the rounds without a very critical bit of information in Zach's tweet:
The webpage itself needs to have a major (and incredibly amateur) security flaw.
Don't get me wrong, it's bad that it can be escalated via CEF (and OBS 33.0 is already slated to update CEF to a newer version that is not susceptible to this) but the moral of the story is still don't put vibe coded slop or websites you don't trust into your browser sources.

Surprisingly few people know about the resale thing actually, if you missed out on tickets and live close enough to Birmingham (and aren't *too* fussed about making last second plans) then it's kinda worth it, especially given how cheap these might get in the next few days ...
Kinda unfortunate that most of these are from people that couldn't make it for whatever reason. Though non-zero chance there's a few wannabe scalpers mixed in who are losing money on these too so it kinda balances out imo :)
Can see the tickets here: seetickets.com/rd/event/rune…
