This one is for all you romantics out there, courtesy of my 7 y.o son. We expect Hallmark to call any time now.

You know you’re Canadian when you ask @Google Home to “please” do something. My kids are still making fun of me. That shit is ingrained.

When quantity > quality: Told my kids they can have ONE halloween treat. They’re currently sorting by weight.

My kids wanted me to dress up for Halloween - I went as a tired, middle-aged mom.

100% - Bolstering homegrown companies with a strong reference customer and additional revenue will help them attract more customers and private investment. Tax credits and direct funding are appreciated, but Canada adopting more Canadian-made technologies would be more impactful.

I’m making dinner and listening to music. My 9 y.o. comes into the kitchen and proceeds to ask me why ALL of the music I listen to sucks. I’m listening to OLP, so will chalk it up to him being hangry and forgive his ignorance.

I spoke at today's Manufacturing Summit (tl;dr): Canada needs to change policy to reduce red tape for Canadian Innovation. We need to own our standards, own our IP and the government needs to become bigger buyers to help drive commercialization and sustainability.

Huge shout out to my insanely talented friend @ODementev - this is what 1000+ hours of hard work and perseverance look like! Can’t believe this is a painting. #Raptors #TorontoRaptors #photorealism @Catalyst137kw

Covid + working + home schooling + deciding what-to-watch-on-Netflix:

Schools may be closed, but I’m convinced my children are now feral enough to justify sendimg them to doggy daycare.

Here’s my parent’s COVID-version of a popular barnyard book: I’m a rage-y, cagey, cranky, drinky, dranky, drunky, Hazy, lazy, shouty, pouty, messy, no-dressy Donkey....I mean Mommy.
