#Starmer is more and more showing himself to be an arch-Blairite and embracing very right-wing policy positions, presumably to placate Tory voters who on this occasion voted Labour to get rid of the worst U.K. government since the 17th century.
Are you happy with Starmer’s leadership of the Labour Party and the country?

78% of Labour supporters would vote to rejoin the EU, 77% of Lib Dems, 73% of Greens, 44% of Conservatives and 25% of Reform.

#Starmer - we want to hear that you're going to re-nationalise water & sewage and that the UK will rejoin the EU, not all this codswallop emphasising how right-wing you are.
If anyone’s interested, I shall be voting Labour in the forthcoming General Election in the U.K., because our current Labour M.P. @tobyperkinsmp is a very good local constituency M.P. for Chesterfield. When I wrote an email to him about the potholes locally he replied with a very courteous letter explaining at some length what he has done relating to this issue. Apparently I am not the first person to complain about potholes in roads after so many years of appalling Tory government!
We had to get the Tories out, but not to have #Starmer proving after his landslide victory that #StarmerIsATory. It's sad that in his victory speech today he seems so keen to distance himself from #JeremyCorbyn @jeremycorbyn - who would have been a much better Prime Minister.

Good luck today, Toby, hope you romp home with a massive majority - you deserve to. I had the pleasure of meeting you & saying hello recently outside Maggie May’s / One Stop. Thanks for your letter about all you’ve done about potholes around Walton - you have been a great constituency M.P. & long may you continue to represent us in Chesterfield!
1) England is for all intents & purposes, a thoroughly nasty, very right-wing, one-party state.

"An electoral system should, first, ensure that the majority rules; second that all significant minorities are represented. Our system currently fulfils neither requirement."
No party should be able to win complete power on a minority of the vote.

Do you agree one of the worst acts of self-harm the British ever inflicted on themselves was to leave the EU?

Let's create a world where everyone feels safe and respected, regardless of their gender identity. Transphobia and homophobia has no place in our society and stand up against discrimination. #TransRights #EqualityForAll 🌈✊"

Those who lied about Corbyn, and those who gave credence to those lies, delivered this miserable, treacherous, malicious, aggressive and brutal Tory regime.
These people knew exactly what they were doing, and the mainstream media know exactly what they did.

#SocialistSunday Was this morning in the local Morrisons carpark, watching the people going in and out. It'd be easy to give up on the English, looking at the state of some of 'em - like zombies, the walking dead, many of them no doubt Tory voters. 😟 Do you ever feel like this?
