i guess if wbd is no more all its properties will be auctioned off, including ips since they're property of the company, not anyone in particular. which absolutely could be a good thing for all the shows and movies they have shelved
A source of optimism:
Individuals don’t own the IP of a streaming series. A company does.
Heads of companies change. The company will outlast the individuals in charge.
When there is a leadership change within a company, there will likely be a policy change as well.

I feel bad for my creative writing students, who just read the Our Flag Means Death pilot script for a dramatic fiction project this week.
And I’m not looking forward to reading their reactions to the script. 💔
But I find hope in the writers of tomorrow learning from OFMD. 🏴☠️
So how do we focus our efforts on getting Our Flag Means Death season 2 the awards/nominations it deserves? Emmys and all that? #LongLiveOFMD 🏴☠️
