I have a lot of food allergies so I rarely eat from anyone, not even free samples at Costco.
I carry my own food no problem. Gathering with friends & enjoying one another company is enough
Only if the steps are in place at least 5 years BEFORE needing long term care because of the look back period. & does require parent to not hold any assets directly. Should really be done as soon as practical. But most people don't even want to think about that until too late

even though I was around the kitchen as youth, I still didn't gain a full appreciation for how much work went into cooking. fast forward to now, as the person who does the cooking, it really does take a lot of effort. especially making multiple fresh meals, every day.
