One of the fundamental principals of #crypto, #blockchain and #bitcoin is: Ignore the past, assume everything works perfectly, and if something hasn't been hacked, that's because it's hack proof. Wait... has it been hacked? Then it's your fault because code is law.
Once you "decentralize" something, you remove accountability. With no accountability, there is no responsibility. With no responsibility, a system cannot guarantee anything to anyone. Anybody believing in such a system is a fool.
Imagine you go to a restaurant and look in the kitchen and saw the head chef taking a shit in everybody's meals.
Every single member of the restaurant's staff knew this was happening and still served that shit to you.
The head chef eventually gets removed.
