We should not be held captive by foreign nations, like Russia & China, for critical minerals crucial to our daily lives. We must reduce that vulnerability & work w/our allies to establish a reliable critical minerals supply chain while also removing roadblocks here at home.

Manchin: We need to be thinking about our long game

I've heard calls for EVs as an answer for how we're going to pivot away from oil. It would be a major mistake to allow us to end up the same situation where those minerals are weaponized against us.
