This idiot comments on alberta but at the same time supported the carneys govt year long government funded hysteria campaign against the US.
Correction: 53 per cent of those who voted said yes to a series of questions carefully drafted to elicit a yes, after a months-long government-funded hysteria campaign.

Another example of our failed canadian media. Ivison posting a AI generated post to feed his TDS followers. His posts are a perfect example george Orwells totalitarianism
"If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face—forever." George Orwell on totalitarianism in 1984.

Glad she is taking CBC to court for defamation. Hope more do it. Sadly, cdn tax payers will end up with the bill
Look at this! CBC is finally admitting to being Infotainment and not news! Good thing they get all those tax dollars to "keep Canadians informed."

Coyne giving financial advice. Sure lets invest in the eu. France is burning. The only country worth investing in is Norway and they refused to join

This post didnt age well
There were those suggesting the Oilers proved in Game 1 that they’re not a Stanley Cup calibre team. I believe the Oilers proved the opposite in the first period tonight in Vancouver. It’s 4-0. Should be 6-0. Could be 8-0.

Good news. It was positive. @SpencerBeach1
LIVE: Prime Minister @MarkJCarney and I are providing an update this morning on the next step towards getting a major energy project built. Alberta energy is the answer to global energy security, and this project will help it reach new markets. xitter.cf/i/broadcasts/1oJMvNEer…

This is the only reason you need to follow the food professor. The liberal left and their flying monkeys are going at him hard.. @FoodProfessor
Sylvain Charlebois has crossed into Jordan Peterson territory Re China: "the relationship that matters" "everything else is just noise" Re Canada: "so-called trade war" The U.S. threatened annexation and imposed tariffs on us to do that. What else is it, you Maple MAGA fuck?

A other sure sign of a liberal shill. If you call them out for distorting the facts, they will start with callimg you a bot, next will be name calling like fascists or a nazi, then it will be a block. All from the liberal script
My goodness the separatists certainly have a herd of bots that they turn loose if you say something that riles them. Or did they just borrow them from the UCP?

Another liberal shill speaking about facts. The same man who said carney is genuine. Apparantly you can lie and still be genuine
Three absolute facts: 1) Alberta’s government doesn’t pay a penny in equalization payments 2) No Albertan sends a cheque to Ottawa for their equalization payments 3) Albertans pay the same federal tax as residents of any province of the same age and income You’ve been lied to

Imagine this is the type of person that the cdn media brings on their shows. The EU does force members to pay taxes(fees). You have to follow them on the environment, immigration and a slew of other rules and regulations. So much for sovereignty. Another traitorous canadian
Why the hell would we have EU taxes and EU laws? What does that even mean? Every country has its own taxes and laws? This guy is such a dummy. All he likes is USA! USA!

And to follow up on the liberal media
This is an actual article featured by the CBC / Radio-Canada (via a wire from Agence France-Presse). Mao Zedong's reign saw 40 million to 80 million people die as a result of man-made famines, forced labor, and brutal political purges. The CBC should be ashamed of itself for cheering on this brutal, communist dictator! What are they thinking?!

Is anyone surprised?
The Canadian Press has seriously undermined its moral credibility. Using the September 11 attacks primarily as a vehicle for discussing Islamophobia demonstrates remarkably poor editorial judgment. Those attacks were perpetrated by 19 Islamist terrorists who murdered nearly 3,000 people, most of them Americans. For anyone old enough to remember September 11, the day remains profoundly painful and disturbing. Most of us remember exactly where we were when it happened. Anniversary coverage should focus first on the victims, the events themselves and how they changed the world forever—not subordinate that history to a contemporary political narrative. CP is not simply another newspaper: it is Canada’s national wire service. Its journalists produce stories that are distributed to subscribing newspapers, broadcasters and digital platforms across the country, where they may be published largely unchanged under a Canadian Press byline. That gives its editorial choices enormous reach. A questionable framing does not remain confined to one newsroom—it can be reproduced nationwide and presented as authoritative reporting. Canada faces a broader problem with the quality, balance and intellectual diversity of its media coverage. This may help explain the increasingly reflexive anti-Americanism shaping our public discourse. When a national wire service amplifies ideology instead of scrutinizing it, the effects reverberate throughout the entire media ecosystem. Informed debate suffers—and our democracy becomes more fragile by the day.

Another good analysis of the trade war. The most salient point was that the public sector doesn't care. Their jobs aren't affected.
Ian Lee of Carleton School of Business calls out a CBC reporter for repeating claims without evidence: CBC - "They wanted a piece of Canada's sovergenty" Ian Lee - "We don't know that, it was a claim Canada made but we wern't in the room" CBC - "That's right, we wern't there"

A good read on carneys failed strategy with the US
Mark Warner, one of Canada’s best trade lawyers—and a friend—dismantles, one by one, every argument used to defend Canada’s current negotiating strategy with the United States. A masterclass of an interview. Watch the whole thing. Oh, and the midterms won’t make a difference...

And as usual, Spencer openly attacking conservatives while giving his liberals friends a free pass for playing politics and hurting Canadians
“As if that wasn’t bad enough, CPC MP and noted J.D. Vance friend Jamil Jivani is openly attacking Carney and Ford as “Liberal” politicians “playing politics,” and blaming them for the trade war, while refusing to criticize Trump. Jivani, who has previously claimed Canadians were having an “anti-American hissy fit,” has become a prominent voice for the Conservatives, with a message that is often directly at odds with that of Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre.”

The cdn govt has still not denounced CBC. CBC did the same thing calling hamas militants instead of terrorists
Final CBC thoughts for now: 1. The US attention, especially from the FBI and the Ambassador, spooked the hell out of officials here. CSIS, Public Safety and Marc Miller weighing in publicly like this, plus a very quick and public CBC reversal, is serious business. We can all stick our elbows up to the moon. We depend heavily on US intel and law enforcement for our national security and if you don't understand or appreciate that, grow the fuck up. You don't have to like Trump. 2. Nuance - CBC did use the terrorism descriptor for 9/11 without attribution somewhat regularly in the past, but this appears to have mostly stopped in recent years (someone else can verify this). This is the more important part to me because it coincides with the manner in which the CBC almost completely dropped its coverage of radical Islamist extremism in recent years. Just spend a few minutes searching the CBC website for "far right' or "white supremacist" extremism and see how much volume there is compared to radical Islamism. If you want to see any deeper dives on this topic beyond straight reports of arrests, you have to go back years ago. I wish other people would think about this more. I kvetch about it constantly. It should matter. 3. CBC as proxy for trade war trash talk and also broader security concerns - US officials see how the Carney government is characterizing the collapse in trade negotiations. "This was an attack." "It's war." US officials called our bluff, hard, and we blinked, hard. They know how Carney is pivoting to China and yes the Trump administration is blowing it with the constant threats and tariffs because they're mostly idiots, but none of that changes the bilateral security relationship and reality, and Canadians who shit on that, and Carney in particular who has now effectively been warned to mind his rhetoric, better take themselves down a notch. We don't have the capacity of the FBI, CIA or NSA and we have serious national security threats outside the orange menace. Also, today's news of the shooter of the US Consulate being let out on bail will be noticed. The US knows who our Public Safety Minister is and our record deporting IRGC officials. It is noticed that the US is intercepting Hezbollah fundraising schemes. It is noticed that we had a guy wanted by France for allegedly blowing up a Synagogue in Paris teaching at Carleton. It is noticed that our government, like the CBC, will not acknowledge the issue of radical Islamist terror by name. We better get our shit together and start being a serious country. The elbows and bullshit bluster aren't going to cut it. You can talk all the trash you want to the FBI and Ambassador on twitter. CSIS knows things you don't, and you better know what you don't know.

Do we need anymore reason to defund the CBC? @steeletalk
CBC can't get anymore ridiculous right? New memo tells CBC journalists not to call 9/11 a terrorist attack. What do you think of this? torontosun.com/opinion/colum…

This is funny coming from a pro liberal left wing influencer. Just change trumps name to carney and it fits perfectly. Spencer is gunning for a senate seat or a spot on Rosie's liberal panel
Time and time again, the pro-Trump right-wing influencers in Canada side with Donald Trump against their own country, only to be made fools of when Trump admits to the actions they denied. Yet, the lesson isn’t learned, and the cycle begins again.
