JUST IN: $1.5 trillion asset manager Franklin Templeton files for spot #Ethereum ETF.

BlackRock has filed the S-1 prospectus for its Spot Ethereum ETF with the SEC, earlier this morning.
The filing, among other things, appoints Coinbase as the Custodian for the underlying ETH.
There appears to be no mention on whether the Trust will actively be staking the ETH and distributing dividends to shareholders from the yield.

The iShares Ethereum Trust has just been registered in Delaware.
For context, BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust was registered in a similar manner 7 days before they filed the ETF application with the SEC. Details below.
