How about a little room for moderation? -ICE shouldn't detain innocent people -Protestors shouldn't interrupt a church service -ICE killing a protestor is unjust -Fraud should be stopped -Masked cops shouldn't occupy our streets All can be true.

It’s very telling about Elon Musk‘s psyche that of all the things that have happened in the world over the past two years, the big “you crossed the line” moment was Ukraine blowing up a Russian data center.

I don't want to see an execution. Yes, I get that I can choose not to watch it. The problem is that in this day of social media, crap like that can't help but find its way to your feed. Even if you don't tune it, you will see it.

Every MN Democrat right now: "Please, let Donald Trump see this, and think to himself 'this race is winnable. I need to go up to Minnesota a few times to help!'"
People never expected this race to be close. Now we’re surging—just one month before Election Day. Minnesotans are seeing through the excuses. Peggy Flanagan is part of the problem, not the solution—and she can’t run from the record. 31 days. Every vote matters. Get registered. Make a plan. Vote. Let’s make history in Minnesota.

Perhaps the reason @SenAmyKlobuchar has the reputation of being a tough boss is because she insists that her office actually does its homework and have its facts straight. (ahem, @Eric_Schmitt)

Trump, Mike Johnson, et al are imploring voters to vote Repub in Nov, because "impeachment and investigations" will ensue if Dems win. How is this a compelling argument? If you are voting blue, you are disappointed in the GOP. Protecting Trump is probably not your top priority.

re: Ossoff's mention of Natalie Harp. Spare me the outrage. Donald Trump lowered the bar for how we speak to each other in public circles. Now we live in the new, lowbrow world that he created.

Did we handle the COVID-19 pandemic perfectly? No. But the hope is that you learn from each one and get better every time. Sadly, my confidence level in RFK leading effectively during the next public health emergency is zero.
BASH: How do you prepare for the next pandemic? That's part of your job now RFK Jr: We did almost everything wrong BASH: But what about now? RFK Jr: We need to protect our constitutional rights BASH: What does that mean? RFK Jr: During covid we completely dismantled our rights BASH: But I'm asking what *to* do during a public health crisis RFK Jr: You were part of the problem BASH: You want to sit here and attack me?

I think @friedberg called this one a couple years ago. Nice job!
TRUMP ON HIS POINTLESS WAR: “We’re making a lot of money. The defense companies are doing great.”🤔 Unreal. There you have it, folks.

Dear Maine - Yeah, this is what they do. I wish it wasn't that way, but it is. Signed, Minnesota

Both New Yorkers. That is where the similarities end. Teddy Roosevelt's great accomplishment, according to himself, was setting aside public lands. Donald Trump can't wait to sell and develop public lands.

This is the kind of wealth redistribution that Americans should fear.
The number of financial side deals the Trump family is running is so shocking it can sometimes be hard to track. According to @Reuters, their crypto ventures alone have delivered $2.3 billion to Trump & co. while creating a similar-sized loss for investors.

Reflecting Pool makeover: ~$15 million. It turned green anyway. Bothers me. Renaming the Department of Defense to the Department of War: ~$125M. All so Hegseth could thump his chest. DoD Renaming Folly bothers me way more than the Reflecting Pool Folly.

Jason: "What's your take on the Iran War Deal, Sacks?" Me (thinking): "Lemme guess. Sacks will say it is great." Sacks: "Well, I think this deal is a tremendous achievement for the president." Your shows are much better when the Besties aren't trying to carry Trump's water.

It’s nice to see the Knicks win the NBA title. I like when storied franchisees win it all. But TBH, of the two teams, the Spurs feel much more like a dynasty in the making. The Knicks feel like this was a special run but a one-time deal.
