Who says math class has to be quiet? Our 5th graders are hooked on Stand Up Math—jumping to vertical whiteboards, teaming up to tackle challenges. Rule: no secret strategies—everyone speaks their math, explains steps, & teaches teammates as problems get harder. #StVrainAdvantage

Students in Mrs. Anderson's Second Grade Classroom are learning about the importance of collaboration through a Silent Puzzle activity. Students were asked to complete puzzles without talking and then reported back on what went well and what was hard! #StVrainAdvantage @SVVSDSupt

Our 5th graders had an amazing, action-packed time at Cal-Wood in Jamestown! They left the classroom to explore mountain ecosystems—tracking wildlife signs, studying native pines, and seeing how the mountain’s parts connect. Their curiosity was nonstop! #StVrainAdvantage
