$SPX 1/7 Flow Outlook
SPX closed 6945 with VIX still suppressed at 14.7.
Dealer structure remains compressed with a critical hedge pivot at 6940–6935. While price holds above that zone, the flow regime continues to favor upside resolution into 6960, with expansion potential toward 6970–6980 as dealer hedging activates.
However, once price reaches the 6970–6975 region, vanna flips positive and if IV continues rising, the structure becomes increasingly fragile with elevated reversal risk. Acceptance below 6935 invalidates the bullish setup and opens acceleration toward 6925–6910.
