Been digging into the early NFT ecosystem on Robinhood Chain, and @BrokeDealersHQ is one project that feels different from the usual PFP launch. 👀 2,222 Broke Dealers are coming onchain but the collection is only one part of what they’re building. Zcash NFTs are getting interesting, but @CypherSquadZec caught my attention for a different reason. 👾 This isn’t being built as just another PFP collection. CypherSquad is creating 6,000 pixel hackers on $ZEC, with a bigger idea behind the identities: → 6,000 pixel hackers → Free mint on Zcash → Playable missions & challenges → Squad-based operations → A future reward system powered by their own ZSA What I like here is the direction. Instead of minting an NFT and simply waiting for the next announcement, the goal is to give holders something to actually participate in. Your hacker becomes an identity inside CypherSquad, missions give that identity something to do, and the planned ZSA layer could eventually give those actions an on-chain reward system. Zcash has always had a strong cypherpunk identity, so a collection built around hackers, privacy culture and interactive missions feels surprisingly native to the ecosystem. 6,000 hackers. One squad. Privacy is what first brought my attention to Zcash. But @Zeccatnft made me think about what else could actually be built on top of ZEC. 🐱 ZecCat is bringing 3,333 pixel cats to Zcash, but the collection itself feels like only the starting point. What interests me more is the attempt to build an actual NFT experience around Zcash: → Native NFT infrastructure on ZEC → A dedicated NFT Vault concept → Marketplace & portfolio experience → User-signed minting, transfers and trading → A launchpad designed to bring more collections into the ecosystem That last part matters. A single successful collection can attract attention, but infrastructure can give the next collection somewhere to launch. Zcash is still extremely early as an NFT ecosystem. That also means projects building before the ecosystem becomes crowded have an interesting opportunity to help shape how it develops. The Zcash NFT scene is getting a lot more interesting lately, and another project that caught our attention is @Zeccatnft 🐱 ZecCat is bringing 3,333 Zeccats to Zcash, with most of the collection still intentionally kept under wraps. What we like is that they’re not rushing straight into the mint. The project is starting with the community first: → 3,333 Zeccats on Zcash → Whitelist applications live now → GTD & FCFS allocations → Mint date & price: TBA → No wallet connection or payment required to apply → More features including collections, portfolio and creator tools planned for later stages The WL process is also a little different. There’s no follower advantage, and genuine community contributions can receive additional draw weight during selection. That makes it feel less like another “fastest wallet wins” mint and more like an opportunity to actually discover the people interested in building around the collection.
