पूर्व चुनाव आयुक्त अशोक लवासा ने साम दाम दंड भेद में फॉर्म 6 से जुड़े दो बड़े विवाद बताए. उनका कहना है कि इलेक्शन कमीशन के पास फॉर्म 6 में बदलाव करने की शक्ति ही नहीं है.
लवासा के मुताबिक 26 सितंबर को चुनाव आयोग ने प्रेस रिलीज़ जारी कर बताया कि बदलाव हुआ है और उस पर Supreme Court की मंज़ूरी है, लेकिन बाद में सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने ही इससे इनकार कर दिया.
