Her leg holds close, pressing itself between Laura's as she presses her body into hers. The gentle and idle heat of her breath was upon her face as she kept her hands on hers. "Adorably nervous around me, still? Let's get warm."

She's scooching closer. The gap between them closing in, an excuse with the perfect reasoning of sharp and cold winds. Her voice was softer. Fingers tracing across her jaw and behind her ear. "I'll be your comforter. Hm?"

"So far ahead... when all I can seem to do is think of the now. You're to blame." A hand reaches out. An open palm placed on the warmth of Laura's cheek, as a thumb strokes gently at the skin. "I don't have specifics yet."

"I'm sure the worst is yet to come..." Ominous, but not without reason. Laying here, it makes her believe that she could forget every storm to come, as long as she has Laura. She can't help but to smile at her comment. Cheeks glowing pink. "Flattery will get you many places."

"You're right. It'll be a beautiful sunrise to wake up to. That is, if those dark clouds decide to leave. Maybe a phone for the weather forecast was a smart idea." She jokes, moving the candle just out of reach for her to sit down comfortably alongside Laura.

Eyes wander around the site. Her hand glows brightly with psionic energy for a light source. Betsy kneels close to the floor to examine the remnants of life. "You did." She'd assist Laura in putting up the tent's poles, all the while the sky cracks with thunder and rain.

Betsy pauses for a moment to feel the soothing droplets of cold rain on her face. What started as a gentle, soon became a downpour of water. She looked to Laura as her hand was grabbed, and followed swiftly into the cave. An echo following footsteps and voices. "Close call..."

Betsy leaves Laura without a comment for a while. She's smiling to herself over it, and the thought that comes with it. "I've always been the alpha. I think they'd know that. Maybe that's my calling, to lead wolves in mountains. Hah."

"Wolves aren't a threat to us. I wonder how they see us. As feeble prey to feed their numbers, or fellow hunters." Betsy lagged back a bit. Walking just behind Laura with a huff from her mouth.

Betsy stopped in her tracks at the sound of thunder. Her head turned slightly to look to Laura. Wavy violet hair following her gentle movement. "A beautifully catastrophic sound. Rain will be heavy soon. We need shelter."

"I spoil you enough, hero." She says with a smirk. Although Laura couldn't see it, she would certainly know it was there. Betsy walked in front for a moment. To both walk in confidence, and leadership, despite her path of blind forwardness over rocks.

"You sound disappointed that you didn't get to play my hero." Betsy nudged Laura with a laugh. Her arms remaining hidden and idle underneath her poncho. Her cheek nuzzled into the fabric softly, both for its comforting warmth, and familiar scent.

Her pride in her stance and ability to jump over such a death pit just made Psylocke smirk, as if it was even a challenge. She took a single step back, and swept the poncho from behind her, bolting forward in a dash. Her leap was elegant, and her landing was flawless.

"Focus on what's ahead before you blush. Now go, before I push you."

"Mm. Get used to it." "Perhaps when we are somewhere private, so that I can take a long look at them. I know you'd look stunning."

"That just sums you up, doesn't it? Pretty with a subtle elegance, but lurking is the desire of a killer, a lust of violence. I doubt you could go an hour without staining a dress with blood. We'll get you in red."

"How generous of you to 'stomach' it. I'm sure you'll discover a love for it, just you wait."

"Seeing her enter a squealing match with a wild boar isn't my idea of fun. ...Or maybe it is." "No. You're right. We haven't. Let's schedule it in more. If we survive this bloody cold."

"A humble outlook, but you're not wrong. It doesn't feel too long ago where before managing, it was surviving." "You'd be bored with anyone else, and I'd be even more bored swinging a sword at the air."
