Last week's Y7 trip was an amazing experience for our students. They took part in interactive challenges & tutors were a true inspiration to their classes. Everyone had a wonderful time, setting a positive, confident tone for the academic year ahead!

We were very excited to welcome our new Y7 students today. They had a wonderful time getting to know their tutors & colleagues and tomorrow they're heading out on an exciting school trip - a great opportunity to build friendships and enjoy learning in an environmental setting.

This is a reminder that tomorrow the school day will finish at 12.30pm. We would like to wish all our students, staff and their families a wonderful and restful Summer Break and we look forward to celebrating with our students their achievements on Results Days!

This week students took part in an exciting programme of activities, including trips, workshops, challenges and two competitive sports days. All students showed a lot of enthusiasm and it was great to see how engaged they were in learning new skills.

The English Department hosted the grand annual Shakespeare Fayre last Friday, now in its fourth year! Students were offered a chance to experience the life, times and wonderful works of Shakespeare in a number of immersive ways. It was certainly an experience to remember!

Here are some lovely photos from our Culture Day and Arts Festival event last week - a truly inspiring event that brought our entire school together to celebrate the wonderful diversity, creativity and community spirit of our school.

This week we invited the year 5 students from our feeder primary schools for a Taster Day to explore our school facilities and take part in some engaging sessions from various faculties. The Y5s had a wonderful time and our student helpers were a real credit to the school!

This week we were thrilled to welcome our new Y7 students for their induction. They had the chance to meet with their form tutors, year team, learn about our school values & routines and took part in lots of engaging activities. We look forward to welcoming you back in September!

Congratulations to all of our DofE Bronze participants, who successfully completed their Qualifying Expedition. Despite challenging weather conditions, students tackled the expedition brilliantly & navigated expertly across difficult woodland terrain. Well done everyone!
