Of course that’s your contention. You’re a first-year #BV member. You just got finished readin’ some thread about Peter Millar’s superior collar construction and materials. You’re gonna be convinced of that ‘til next month when you discover H&B, then Arnie and cotton. And then you’re gonna be talkin’ about the logo rule and how no serious golfer would be caught dead wearing multiple logos to clubs he doesn’t belong.
That’s gonna last until next year, when you’re gonna be in here regurgitating some thread about how microprint has no place on golf polos, and how a carry bag is the only acceptable way to transport 14 clubs.
And next month you’re gonna be in here talkin’ about how FootJoy Premiers are the last true golf shoe and Traditions are for guys who don’t know any better.
But the sad thing about a guy like you is that in 50 years you’re gonna start doin’ some thinkin’ on your own, and you’re gonna come up with the fact that there are two certainties in life. One, nobody cares what logo is on your quarter-zip. And two, you spent four thousand dollars on a golf wardrobe to shoot the same fuckin’ 87.

One of the most famous games of the 21st century in CFB. Today it would be a “meaningless bowl game”. The sport peaked during the BCS. But yeah let’s just keep expanding the playoffs

Can you imagine the @NFL, three weeks into the season, announcing that they are changing how playoff seeding is determined?
The lawlessness of college football is rotting the sport from within.
NEW: The College Football Playoff committee will now consider a strength-of-conference metric in its selection process, @CFBHeather reports.
The new metric will help determine the strength of each conference based on the schedule strength of each team in its league.
