The problem is, I can find beauty in damn near everything, even the struggle. But I can’t find peace in shit. Or I can’t keep it. It comes & goes in waves maybe. But ain’t that my fault cause it’s a state of mind so if my minds state ain’t right do I not deserve peace? Who does?

“when i turn my bundles frank white, i know this work gon' sell good” — references a drug lord from the film king of new york. she’s acknowledging the fans enjoying the music from her alter ego with the platinum blonde hair the most. furthermore tho the notorious b.i.g. would nickname himself after this character so there’s an added layer of her boasting her rap prowess.
“i'm feelin like goldie, your hoe overly going” — references the protagonist from the film the mack who leaves drug dealing behind to become a super successful pimp. she’s telling you she could have your romantic interest easily if she was so inclined.
“all eyes on me, i feel like shakur” — as in tupac & his famous album. linking back to the biggie line before and once again solidifying herself as thee rap supreme.
