Not even joking that might be one of the biggest wins for this Houston program in the last 10 years
Winning against a ranked team in front of a sellout crowd. The city just put their faith in this team and got rewarded for it.
Tonight was massive for the sports program at UH.

99% of the fanbase being mariners fans should have prepared everyone for this, but not I. Itβs been a long time since Iβve been disappointed like this
The two plays that bothered me the most tonight werenβt even the picks. It was the sack that pushed Myersβ kick back, which he ended up missing. And the sack that took us out of FG range at the beginning of the 4th. Those are just unacceptable in those situations.
Sam Darnold looks hurt, hesitant, and there are so many people to blame for that besides him, but at the end of the day itβs his in game decision making that has cost us. The ineffective OF scheme, lack of run game, and horrible OL play are all reasons why this team is 3-3.
Itβd be hard to keep everyone on the 53 man roster bought into the program if you keep wasting the play of the defense with the play and execution of the offense.
