Mario Kart Wii now works online natively on iPhone and iPad for the first time ever.
Retro Rewind’s servers are back online, which means you can jump into matchmaking and race people around the world with the latest KartPad build.
No streaming and no Dolphin. Mario Kart Wii is recompiled for Apple Silicon and runs through Metal.
There’s an Apple TV build too, and Android launches tomorrow. The repo, downloads, and installation details are in the next post.

Discord is going to reintroduce Global Age Verification, which restricts teen accounts.
Teens will face several limitations:
- Blocked access to NSFW channels and servers
- Sensitive media automatically blurred in chats and direct messages
- Mandatory message requests for incoming texts
- Restricted speaking access in Stage Channels
To lift these restrictions, unverified adults can confirm their age via one of the following options:
- Credit Card checks via k-ID x Stripe
- Official ID through k-ID
- Selfie
- Google Wallet
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Discord previously had ~70,000 government IDs exposed in an Oct 2025 breach of a third-party customer service vendor handling age-related appeals (not k-ID, which does not store IDs).
