10 years ago today "Same old Alloa, always cheating" was born. Plucky Rangers left Ibrox with a point that night after holding the mighty Alloa to a 2-2 draw 🐝

A much needed & confidence boosting win for Alloa 🐝 👏Foster's 6th goal this season already from RB 🔥Kyle Glasgow doing Kyle Glasgow things with a beautifully curled 20 yard finish, his 5th goal this season 👍Importantly, a 6th clean sheet 💫Max Cameron excellent on the wing

A fun game due the main character energy of the ref - 11 bookings & 1 red! 🔥Lawton Green penalty save 👍Late cameo from Andy Graham, 2 weeks before his 43rd birthday Clydebank were excellent & a great advert for having hungry Lowland Lge sides in the cup rather than B teams

Beautiful to see Stirling Albion marking the 28th anniversary of being annihilated 7-0 by Alloa at the Recs in appropriate style - with another humiliating away defeat! 🐝

Quite the 48 hours for Kyle Glasgow - on the bench for Rangers on Thursday & scoring for Alloa today, becoming the Wasps youngest league scorer (16y177d) since Scott Hynd in 2013! Fitting for Rankin to score on his 100th Alloa appearance & goals in successive games for Foster 🐝

Luke Rankin could make his landmark 100th Alloa appearance tomorrow: 99 games 27 goals Top goalscorer in 2024/5 (14) 4 matchwinners 1 goal every 185 minutes played A deadly finisher who scores all types of goals & at only 21 years old has a very bright future ahead of him 🐝

Shout out to Luke Rankin on scoring the 50th goal of his senior career tonight (27 for Alloa & 23 for East Stirling) & still only 20 years old 👏 A really encouraging debut for Brandon Forbes, including an unselfish assist for Owen Foster's winner Onwards & upwards for Alloa 🐝

Tomorrow Stevie Hetherington could become just the 13th post-war player to make 300 appearances for @AlloaAthleticFC Now in his 11th season with the Wasps, the 2017/18 Player of the Year & promotion winner continues to be an indispensable member of the team 🐝

Congratulations to Kyle Glasgow on scoring the first goal of his senior career, on only his second start 👏 At 16 years & 152 days of age, the @RFC_Youth loanee becomes Alloa's youngest goalscorer since Scott Hynd (15 years & 267 days) in 2013! Hopefully the first of many 🐝

Shout out to Ross Stewart for becoming the first former @AlloaAthleticFC player to appear at a World Cup since Tommy Hutchison in 1974 🐝

Despite the painful final outcome yesterday, it has still been a positive season on the pitch for Alloa: ✔️26 wins ✔️85 goals ✔️19 clean sheets ✔️6 comeback wins ✔️100% win rate in Lge Cup group stage ✔️276 appearances & 19,722 mins by U21 players Proud of the Wasps efforts 🐝

Phenomenal composure from Alloa today; didn't panic despite the playoff scars of 2023 & 2024 & played some excellent football Foster's 2nd goal at Airdrie this season & the tireless Adamson got the goal his play deserved! An Andy Graham tactical masterclass & a final awaits 🐝
