Today's price action looks quite interesting. Spreads firming in corn. Weaker in beans. Exports are weak but does that mean they need to catch up? Commercials were massive short against the funds. Were farmers hedging the rally? Is there no off combine seller? Is today a trap?

I would give some really insightful takes on the market but the USDA is going to mess up the day anyway so ill just wait until 11:02 and play Monday morning quarterback. Good Luck

Im told its possible most of the state of Nebraska could float away.
Rainfall reports as of Thursday morning are NUMEROUS. Highest report so far is over TEN INCHES just north of Lincoln. Widespread ground reports and radar estimates of 4" to 8" along a line from near Hebron, through northwestern Lancaster County, up into the Omaha area. #NEwx

Funds bought 43k longs 8/11-8/18, 461-488. Then 89k 8/18-8/25, price 487-523. Since 8/25 not much movement. 6/9-8/11 saw 56k added longs. Some length is under water. Long side exposure is near the high. Can they defend here? Shorts have bullets to fire but will they?

Trumps supposed to be talking this afternoon. Markets are trying to recover from the morning sell off. The selling enthusiasm doesn't seem very strong. The devil is always in the details with these press conferences. I will say the funds don't seem shaken yet. Good Luck.

Didnt the meeting in China come and go and it wasnt until the weekend news shows that someone talked about the Ag. purchases that were agreed upon? Do we have to wait until Sunday morning? The anticipation is killing me. Good to see another Iran peace headline. Im sure were close

When even JP Morgan doesn't know what's going on we have officially entered a new phase of chaos.
BREAKING: For the first time since the Iran war began, JPMorgan says it no longer has a baseline view on oil, writing "we simply don't know how to model the endgame," and that the assumption that the Middle East disruptions are temporary is "becoming increasingly difficult to sustain," per JPMorgan Global Research. The bank says it had assumed there were economic red lines the Trump administration would be unwilling to cross, and that six months later "many of those lines have been crossed, yet the exit strategy is less clear, not more." Chevron's CEO said this week the Great fuel crisis has officially arrived, as Trump officials continue to claim the disruption temporary.

When will it stop? Diesel is the life blood of the US economy. If we keep this up something big is going to break.

You have to feed that bull every day or he might get mad. Apparently today is a mad day. In 2010 the Oct. WASDE corn yield dropped 7 bushels. Currently the 2011 chart is looking closer than 2010 but theres still time. My guess is funds were sellers through Tues. TGIF

The morning we rallied on the Putin headline corn was trading roughly $5.27. This morning following the Putin headline corn is trading $5.28. So Russia demand hope was worth $.21. Good luck out there today.
