I would like a detailed explanation as to why the two instances below were not fined or addressed, but tortillas are now a $100,000 penalty. These two instances seem to be extremely dangerous to student athletes with no consequences

#TexasTech AD Kirby Hocutt just announced that starting this week, the first time a tortilla is thrown on the field at Jones AT&T Stadium, there will be a warning... the second time, a 15-yard penalty AND a $100,000 fine.

If you are at Jones AT&T Stadium, there are only two times you should throw tortillas:
1. Opening kickoff
2. When the clock hits 0:00 in the 4th quarter
Throwing them any other time hurts the team. Keep the tradition alive, in modified form.
