I now see why Biden, Pelosi, Clintons, etc were wary of handing power to the next generations.

Asked how he would have answered if Iran or Israel is a bigger threat the the US, Buttigieg tells Fox News: “Iran is our enemy, Israel is not. They’re an ally so that’s pretty clear to me.”

Proud to be one of the people fighting off the predator.
Describing the Democratic Party to Noah, Piker said: “That’s a weak party. That’s a party that you can seize. That’s a party that you can take advantage of.” Many earnest liberals see Piker as a handy megaphone who can convey their message to an elusive constituency. Piker, however, is not so much joining the team as sizing it up as prey.

Political consultant and former Obama advisor David Axelrod says Jon Ossoff needs to smile more. “I haven't seen him smile. I've never seen him smile, he's always very severe. So there are other elements of campaigning that I would like to see.” Source: Pod Save America interview

I’m disgusted by the way some so-called Catholics speak about the Pope. You can disagree with prudential judgments without resorting to disrespect. He is the Vicar of Christ, and defending the dignity of his office and practicing charity toward him is our duty as Catholics.

And many professing Christians would have been among the first to yell "Crucify him!"
This America would have live streamed its crucifixion of Jesus.

“Throw the records out” is a cop-out for fans who are afraid to be wrong. Texas fans are too worried about being clowned on twitter to say what’s actually true, so I will. Texas is going to win on Saturday and Texas is going to cover because Texas is a better team.

Ronald Acuna Jr. was very emotional after the game because he says he didn’t do anything to help his team win. After reporters left Acuna sat at his locker for a long time with his shirt over his head and his head in his hands. He was very upset after being eliminated from the playoffs. #BravesCountry #Braves

The Russians are barbarians and should be treated as such, not as people to negotiate new business deals with to benefit corrupt oligarchs in the US.
Horrific images coming out of Kramatorsk in Donetsk this morning. A Russian strike hit a bus killing 12 and injuring another 14. Some of the worst images I've seen in a long time.

To what end, David? Congrats… you won your seat running against the “establishment.” Threw mud all over the party. Now what? Can you pass a bill by yourself? Nope. Can you get your agenda through a Republican majority? Good luck. Want to win the White House? To get to 270, you’re going to need some of those same folks you keep shitting on. Run your own race. Tell folks where you disagree. But there’s a difference between that and telling everybody the whole damn party is worthless. If you win, but other Democrats lose, who’s passing your agenda?! It is the collective that makes things happen in our government and not the individual. You have to find a way to work with folks. Otherwise you’re slashing the tires on the same damn bus you need to get somewhere. Make it make sense. Bottomline- save the fights for the primary. Let’s all win in the general!
What Jaime’s response shows is the Dem Establishment does not understand how much voters loathe them right now, and can’t even understand that when you look at history, in such environments, many of the most successful Dems run against the establishment/status quo.

See what these privileged assholes will never understand is that when bodily autonomy, healthcare and basic survival are on the line, most of us don’t have the luxury of a “protest vote” that will inevitably enable fascism.
the dumbest people you know are now calling him a trump voter and still do not understand the power of a protest vote.

I commend UT Professor Jason Brownlee for speaking out. UT leadership, taking cues from Abbott's political agenda, is pushing through sweeping changes behind closed doors, threatening the academic excellence generations of Longhorns have built. Faculty and students deserve a real voice in decisions that will shape the future of our University. statesman.com/opinion/column…

We wish more money would've gone to Hinojosa. She'd be far more transformative for TX than Talarico. In one fell swoop she could end the state invasion of Houston ISD, and use the same Abbott playbook to positively reshape the state universities' trustees and regents. -OS
