If 5,000 extractooooors had minted, we’d “celebrate” a sell-out while inheriting a time bomb. Instead, 1,700 power users who actually care stepped up. The mint was intentionally unattractive: 0.25 ETH, soulbound, strict terms, no flip, no exit. I overestimated how many would climb that wall, but the wall did its job. Signal found, noise removed. This wasn’t built for hype or short-term farming. It was a conviction filter. I said it thousands of times. They thought I was bluffing. We followed through. Back in January, I set four KPIs for a successful Beta: traction, revenue, retention, DAU. All were hit. Some were beaten. Quantum Core holders will now get ~3x the rewards: More Coin. Fewer people. Stronger alignment. The power law finally works for the ecosystem, not for extractors who would’ve insta-dumped anyway. Selling out would’ve been easy: drop the price, flood WLs, let bots farm. We chose friction. Hard mode. And it worked. ~15,000 users (OG Skins, NFT holders, QC owners) will receive $coin, skewed toward the ones who believe the most. I genuinely believe this is one of the strongest token distributions crypto has seen in years. This mint was the antithesis of a cash grab. We did it differently: resisted extractors, built long-term alignment. Sometimes things don't work out as expected. We ship, we measure, we iterate. Feedback is fuel. Believers just tripled their slice. That alignment and the joy i'm seeing now is worth more than any vanity sell-out. We may need to rethink parts of the future. But two things are next: 77-Bit’s art upgrade and that mysterious $coin. Let the extractors scream. The real ones are eating.
