I swear auto mechanics have gotten so much worse over the years. Everything is a fee and they still havnt even address or fixed my actual issue!
I knew i should have just fixed it myself...
I hope my friends that worked here are doing alright. They joy from the games they help make will always be with me. To everyone else at BioWare, thank you for the great memories as well.

VALVE INDEX UPDATE
Valve has formally announced that they will be sun-setting Valve Index. Coupled with this announcement is a new page where you can order the last remaining stock of certain Valve Index hardware. After these are out of stock, Valve Index will no longer be sold on Steam.

No we have not. We are going back to knobs and buttons in cars because people hate the touch screen that much.
No one i know that has used them has liked these new FMS either.

The new Touchscreen Control Display Unit (TCDU), featuring an AMLCD screen, is now available for retrofit on the 737 MAX and NG, while also being rolled out on new MAX aircraft as an optional feature.
Pilots will probably say: “I can’t stand touchscreens in the cockpit. There’s nothing wrong with the FMC we have. Give me my buttons.”

But from a maintenance perspective? We actually love them.
Usually, maintenance replace FMCs because of loss of tactile feedback from worn-out buttons.
For dispatch, an inoperative FMC may be deactivated by opening and collaring its CB, but it must be replaced because it may affect ETOPS/EDTO operations.
For the flight crew, when operating with one FMC inoperative, the FMC Source Select Switch is selected to the operational FMC (BOTH ON L or BOTH ON R) to accomplish all Flight Management Computing tasks.
The only drama that ever seems to make it reliably onto my feed is "fursuit pricing."
I dont really care if i have to pay 10K for a suit so long as they actually finish it when they say they will!
