“Oh man I’m not sure I think a black coffee and a cute cookie. I’m a pretty simple dude you know? Nothing fancy.”

“Okay then a cookie and maybe a hot chocolate for you then?” He fave a short laugh. He figured the boy didn’t have a strong taste for coffee but at least he was thankful they were out.

Bah.

He opened the door and led them inside, “oh it smells great in here! Holy cow!” He beamed happily as he let his eyes scan around the room.

“Dude! How did I forget it’s almost Christmas I bet they have some cute holiday cookies and drinks let’s go.” He laughed and led them down the road to the bustling little coffee house.

“Ha..... Ha.... uh, they probably do! I’m not sure but we can always check?”

“They have a wonderful selection of tea and speciality drinks! You don’t have to do just coffee.”

“There’s a really nice place down the road that’s my absolute favorite.... if that’s okay?”

“Haha Okay- Okay. We can try that!”

“You’re doing fine! How about we go find some drinks too and then you can tell her you actually socialized.”

“Your mom is beating you?”

“I agree! But we are still having one so I think that is a win.”

“Okay, I’m still kinda confused on what’s going on here.”

“Cheaters aren’t good anyways.”

“I mean it could be absolutely weird.”
